BIG BOY

We decided to stop for lunch since we have never tried Big Boy before. My fiance and I got seated in our preference of a booth followed by drinks immediately. After viewing the large menu our waitress came over to take our order and seemed somewhat knowledgeable about the menu items. We ordered two burgers with fries, one was called "The Big Irish" and the other was "Super Big Boy". The big Irish was supposed to be a Rueben style sandwich with a burger added and the super big boy was basically a glorified big mac if you ask me. We didn't seem to have that big of a wait on our food; but when it did arrive, it wasn't very hot. The fries were way too done and yet somewhat cold, the burgers had NO grease and were so dry they were hard to eat (seemed like frozen patties). My fiance had ordered extra onions and there were none at all. To top off the bad food, our waitress didn't even care to check how our experience was going, instead she asked if we were having dessert only a few bites into our meal and when we responded with "no" she dropped our check on the table. I could understand dropping a check if you're busy and have a full restaurant, but there were only a couple tables in there. My fiance sat with an empty soda glass for at least 20 minutes before being asked if he wanted a refill just as we were paying the check. I would not recommend this place at all. I would say you have a better shot at McDonald's. 😝

Very poor experience. Tried going back after other unsatisfactory visits. Dirty tables and floor, poor food, poor wait staff. Breakfast buffet empty. Go elsewhere to get a good meal and service. Previous management and staff where up to Big Boy standards.

My Hubby and I were there last week and I ordered the fish and chips. I asked for mashed potatoes and gravy. The waitress was great but the new cook they were training was absolutely terrible. The food was so bad we couldn't eat it. My Hubby ordered American fries with onions and they smelled bad. Kind of like a medicine smell. Strong smell. We're not the type to complain about our service so we just left our booth and paid for our terrible food and left. I will never ever go there again.

Everything we ordered was terrible! Burnt shrimp, nasty eggs, and sausage gravy on fried steak was sick! I literally barfed when I got home and had diarrhea. I had to send my plate back. Waitress talked smack about other workers. My niece spilled her water and the dumb worker mopped up the wrong table! I had to tell people waiting to be seated to go somewhere else! Watched another table walk out! Worst service/food I've ever experienced. Please fire that cook!
