Big Boar BBQ

Everything I tried was decent. The brisket, even though it was chopped and I prefer sliced was actually really good and the ribs were also good. The burnt ends didn't come sauced which I thought was weird and were not tender at all. I wouldn't order those again. Potato salad was excellent as was the muffin. I wasn't impressed with any of the sauces except the spicy and even that wasn't that good. Prices are pretty high though for what you get, my total with a drink was $44. I'd eat here again if in the area though!

It was good not great but good. Looking for a better rub or more of it. Sauces where a great addition to this meat. I'd prefer smoked meat to stand alone without thinking if I should of added the sauce.

I had hoped to try the burnt ends but they were out at the time I arrived. I got a 1/2 rack of ribs w fries and mac-n-cheese. I liked the ribs. My only thought is I like ribs to stick on the bone a slight bit rather than simply sliding out clean. The sides were fine but not memorable. Overall a good dinner.

Service was absolutely perfect each and every time I would dine in or drive thru. The food always excellent to the pallet and appealing to the eyes. More then enough. I would recommend this restaurant a 10 in my book to eat.

I've had some questionable experiences with portion size in the past but always chocked it up to them being busy. Tonight was the final straw. I paid 40 dollars for a platter, got 3 of the smallest ribs I've ever seen, a smaller portion of pulled pork than the sliders have, the full side of Mac n cheese had to of been 1.5 Oz max it was literally in a sauce container, the Chilli was so hot it melted the Styrofoam. Absolutely awful. If you want to waste $40 and leave hungry this is your spot.

Never had chopped /shredded brisket. Meals were supposed to come with chips, but they didn't. Mac n Cheese was cold and corn muffin was nothing special. Maybe this passes for BBQ in the midwest, but daughter and I were extremely underwhelmed by all the foodFood: 1/5

Food tastes great like usual but we got no bread with our platter, portion sizes are ridiculously small and the price is sky high. This was my favorite place to eat but I’m gonna have to skip it now.

Really awesome choice of bbq. The brisket was just so juicy and tasty just as is. You have a choice of Norms, spicy, zesty and sweet bbq sauce. I also had a prime rib that was cooked perfectly. I could cut it with my fork. I highly recommend going out of your way to eat here. Even the owner stopped by my table to make sure that I was satisfied.

Excellent pulled pork sandwich daily special!!! The garlic mashed potatoes and gravy were very good. Their hot BBQ sauce is excellent!!! Overall this place is great!!! Loved the food

Brisket philly sandwich was great. The zesty BBQ sauce complimented it perfectly. Nice, cozy restaurant.
