The meal was fantastic. Absolutely delicious. I got a New York strip, 8 Oz medium rare. Perfectly cooked. Paired with a wild turkey 101 and Oyster Rockefeller. Too full for dessert. The sunset on the Mississippi was perfect as well.
I chose The Waterfront for my girlfriend and I’s Date Night and it did not disappoint!! It’s a beautiful spot that they have, nice and romantic setting, low lighting, and just good vibes with the water views.nnFood was good. Let’s just say this, I am more of a tavern/bar food type of guy so this was out of my comfort zone when it comes to food haha. That said, I got the steak and it was delicious!nGirlfriend got the scallops and noodles and she loved it!nnAlso, for dessert, got cookies and cream ice cream, was so dang good… I think that was a special they had that night though.nnWas very expensive though, you won’t be spending less than $100 for the meal, just an FYI .
Overall, the restaurant was good. The service excellent. The restaurant was cozy. I felt the food was lacking. I dont know if it was the fried steak versus grilled. The cauliflower tasted saltier even though it was prepared with the calamari. Maybe my taste buds were off when compared to the other reviews. Im not sure I would return as there are numerous options in the area.
This is one of the better places in Wisconsin. The drinks are good. Their cheese board is so attractive and has a good combination of sweet and savory. My only complaint is that we need more crackers. My salmon entree was perfectly cooked though a little bit salty but I am always light on the salt. Overall, it was a great dinner. Our waiter, Joseph was a bomb.
We took a group of 12 people here a couple weeks ago. It was a great celebration and we were very impressed with the food and service. The staff was very attentive. Just make sure you carve yourself out some time to fully enjoy it. We had a private room overlooking the water with huge windows. We will definitely keep this gem on our radar when we get fancy food!
