Story

A La Crosse landmark for decades, Howie's has been a gathering place for friends and families alike. In its newest form, Howie's will once again provide the La Crosse area with a casual and fun atmosphere. A newly designed kitchen will feature gourmet burgers, signature sandwiches, Sciarrone’s homemade pizza, and chef inspired entrées that are sure to please your taste buds. Along with the new menu, Howie's will offer a wide range of tap beers, martinis, and signature drinks.

Always great burgers at Howie’s! Server was nice, unfortunately had to wait a little bit for the fork I asked for but, it wasn’t the end of the world. I am weird person that likes to eat my burger without the top bun and a fork and knife. Won’t stop me from going back!!!
This is a great bar! We sat outside on the patio because they are dog friendly. The fried pickles are nicely battered and well seasoned, with a homemade ranch that is delicious. The Howie's Cheesesteak was also very good and my wife really enjoyed her chicken wrap on a homemade tortilla. Our server Janessa was so kind and thoughtful to our dog. She brought out a water dish and we were able to get a burger patty for him $2. Thank you Janessa and Howies for a wonderful evening. Hope to be back in the area soon and come again.
Howie's was an amazing place. It was very busy but it was Friday so we expected that. They told us 20-30 minute wait and we only waited about 15 minutes. highly recommend the bacon bombs!! Our waitress was awesome and service was fast!! We were also able to purchase the bar glasses for $2 as souvenirs
You get a lot of food. The sampler appetizer was very good. The Memphis BBQ pork sandwich is very good and BIG. This is a bar restaurant.
There is a huge selection of on tap beers, mainly local or midwestern with some of the standard big beer brands as well. The menu had plenty of choices with speciality burgers, delicious fries and specialty sides, fun cocktails, and an excellent kids menu that included a dessert and a great price! The restaurant itself had a great ambiance. Our waitress was excellent and we were served quickly and efficiently. Well trained staff and excellent food! Had options for all!
