The smoked meat is the only item on the menu to try. It’s usually hard to mess up the French fries, but they did a good job at that. They didn’t offer any condiments at pick up to cover up the horrible taste either. Even as poutine they are not edible. 4 out of 5 meals went to trash!! Along with the fries
My family and I have lived in Kingston for over 20 years and have never tried Big Bites. It was recommended by some colleagues and acquaintances. Since we can’t dine in anywhere right now, we thought supporting a local business take out would be a good option on a cold Sunday in January. We tried the BBQ burger, philly sub and smoked meat poutine. The poutine was decent in size and the smoked meat was mediocre, but the burger was dry and the fries were absolutely dreadful. Straight into the garbage they went! Not only were they overcooked and unsalted, but their fry oil must be like old black tar! I like my fries well done, but none of us could stomach the burnt chitlins.
Absolutely AMAZING dine in experience. We have not been since the pandemic and so happy my son and I returned today. Always super friendly service. 2nd time we have met the owner and he is beyond pleasant. Not only to the customer but have heard him interacting with his staff. Super positive and talks with a huge smile on his face. The food is beyond my expectation along with the prices. Can not wait to return. Kid-friendliness: Good kids menue Parking: Very easy to get in and out of and lots of parking.
Love this place love the food! Amazing prices as well. A must for eating in Kingston! UPDATE : We were there again today! Still amazing! They forgot our forks but we didn't even mind as it was soooo good! 2 poutines for $10!!! UPDATE : in Kingston again and where did we stop! Big Bites! Love the food so much took 2 of the kids this time so they could have some too.
Terrible service ... hair in my food.. chicken wrapps r on soggie hotdog buns.. chickens hard.... n the fast food staff ask for tips lol... please save your money...
Stopped in for an early dinner. Food was great. Service was great. Had a cheeseburger and French onion soup. Husband had the smoked meat combo. Owners were so friendly and welcoming. We'll be back.
I’m surprised about all these great reviews. We threw away all the fries, since they were horrendous. How can someone mess up fries this bad!?! The smoked meat is decent and might be the only good item on the menu. We picked the drive through option and They didn’t offer any condiments, another unfortunate thing there. Half the food went to trash, and we really hate wasting food.
The chicken caesar rolls and big bites burger were really good. But why did you change your fries? They are way too thick now. Please change them back. The other ones were one of the top reasons we made the trip to dine here. So disappointed with the new thinker fries.
Eating in the car edition. Ordered the signature burger, Big bites burger, it comes with double patties, onion rings, bacon and cheese curds! I mean, how could you say no? I loved the toppings but would have appreciated some lettuce, tomato, mayo and ketchup the fries didn't have any salt which is how I prefer it.
Excellent. Great value. Fries are excellent. Gyro pita. Excellent.
