Rooms are decent. No microwave in the room. Pillows are just flat little things. Terrible to sleep with. Went down for the continental breakfast at 9:30. It wasn’t there. Ended at 9:30 instead of 10 like every other continental breakfast on earth. That was super disappointing.
An excellent hotel. The rooms are extremely well-conceived; my room had a couch in place of a second bed, which suited me, a solo traveller, just fine. The hotel lobby and appearance is quite attractive. The room was clean and everything looked new. The breakfast was good, and the service excellent. The staff allowed me to store my bicycle I was in the middle of a bike trip in the maintenance room. Highly recommended.
Friendly service and a very good breakfast. Room 103 although very clean seem a bit noisy. The bathroom was also very clean but the sink taps were loose, this was reported at checkout. We asked for a Queen size bed! This is the smallest Queen bed we have slept in and we have slept in many. Reception assured us it was indeed a Queen Great location, 5 minutes by car from beautiful downtown Smiths Falls or a 18 minute walk along the Canal trail.
Staying at the Best Western at Smiths Falls is like going to visit my great grandma. She's still wearing lipstick and can put out a decent breakfast, but there's dirt in unexpected places and her easy chair hasn't moved in 30 years. I love my great grandmother dearly, but she needs a bit more help and an extended visit from an interior designer.
The location is in the south end of Smith Falls and that makes highways easy to access. The rooms are clean and always fresh looking. The people we dealt with were very friendly and knowledgeable. The reservation was just as we asked for with no problems registering nor when we checked out. Wii always stay in this hotel when we are in Smith Falls.
