We always stay at this hotel when in town visiting family. Clean, Great service and staff. My only complaint is the very minimalist breakfast options. Some fresh fruit would be nice or a couple options for proteins more then just sausage links.
The room was clean, the location was convenient for me, and the staff were kind and helpful.nnJust a little bid of feedback to share:n1. The fridge in my room was broken it seemed quite old, but this was attended to quicklyn2. The walls are very thin. I had trouble falling asleep because of noise, and was woken up several times throughout the morning. It was a bad sleep.n3. The continental breakfast is not good, especially considering I paid $170 for one night. There weren't scrambled eggs or even hard-boiled eggs— just disc-shaped eggs that I guess came from frozen. The toppings for granola consisted of walnuts and chocolate chips. There were no bananas or any other fruit that would make sense to add to granola or oatmeal. Just apples and clementines that looked sad. There were I believe 1-2 bread options of the cheapest bread. I don't think there were bagels. All of it was just the absolute cheapest you can offer. It wouldn't take much money to make it a little nicer for people who are shelling out for a hotel room.
This hotel had very nice staff and a nice bright dining room for the good breakfast that was included. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Very good value. Would definitely stay here again. My only tiny suggestion would be another vacuum of the carpeted stairs to the second floor.
My stay was perfect. The front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Check in was fast. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds was comfy. The location of the hotel is near everything you may need. Groceries, hardware, restaurants, gas stations, depanneur. A lot of parking in the front and back of the hotel. Very quiet area. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area for couple nights.
Quick review: clean, comfortable, friendly staff, would stay here again. Just a weird combination of dated and modern amenities.nnPros: The place is kept very clean and organized. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Some nice modern upgrades such as the TV, the desk/dresser, a Keurig with pods included, headboard and nightstands, with plenty of power and USB charging ports throughout. The floors also look recently renovated. And they have an L2 EV charger free for guests. There's also a 50kw EV charger behind the Scotiabank nextdoor.nnCons: a number of other things are still dated. It's not a big deal, but stands out in contrast to the other upgrades in the room. The walls are starting to peel, the bathroom, the chairs, the mattress was comfortable but a little squeaky. The AC unit was probably the worst part, if you're a light sleeper, that thing will wake you every time it starts up, it sounds like an engine running.nAlso the complementary breakfast left a little to be desired. The items that were there were good, just not enough selection.
