The 1840 Guest House B&B is centrally located in the historic village of Merrickville, 'Jewel of the Rideau”.
We offer a “home away from home” experience with clean, modern, friendly accommodations overlooking the Rideau Canal waterway, a World Heritage Site.
We are located in Merrickville's business district, within walking distance of the Rideau Canal Locks, Blockhouse Museum, galleries, shops, fine restaurants and the village's interesting 1800's architecture.
Bright, spacious, air conditioned rooms, with Queen size bed, ensuite with bathtub/shower combination, electric fireplace, WiFi wireless internet, satellite TV, NETFLIX movies, terry cloth bathrobes, desk and comfortable chairs.
The entire second floor of our home is dedicated to the comfort of our guests with four bedrooms and a common sitting/coffee area. The B&B is decorated with hand sewn quilts and stained glass. Enjoy the view and watch the boats go by from the second level balcony. Bicycle friendly / storage.
