Was a little perturbed that there was no microwave and the fridge was crazy loud. Luckily it was cold enough out to keep my next day's lunch in the van. Don't know about the rest of the food in their restaurant but the nachos, while being a very generous portion mind you (I'm a fat guy and couldn't eat more than half) used garbage tortillas chips and all i tasted was grease and food coloring. The bed and pillows, to the contrary, were very comfortable, i slept great. There was a very large flatscreen in the room and everything in the hotel seemed very clean and modern. I was charged for a missing alarm clock (170.00, was it made of gold?) and the charge was reversed right away after i explained that i haven't used an alarm clock since the invention of cellphones and she was polite about it. The girl at front desk also was very friendly and professional, as was the the girl who brought me the nachos. I'd stay here again, i just likely wouldn't eat from the restaurant next time and likely take inventory once i am in there.

A very comfortable and pleasant stay. We were in a premium room. It was very affordable and very nice. We had a separate living room and bedroom. Tastefully decorated and Avery confortable bed. Travel quite a bit on business and I think is one of my top hotels to stay at. Can’t wait to return. Breakfast was included and it was very tasty with quick service.

Went for breakfast. The restaurant was newly renovated and looked amazing. Had so much more lighting then previously. We went for breakfast, hoping that they had eggs Benedict. Sure enough, they had 3 different kinds of it! Food was absolutely amazing (chef came out to make sure we were satisfied). Service was just as wonderful; staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They didn't smother us but also made sure we were content. Would highly recommend to anyone! Big menu with lots to choose from. Will definitely go back.

This is a very nice clean and quite place to stay while I'm out of town for business. I would recommend it to everyone.

The best western guildwood inn was a very modern looking hotel with many features that stood out to us as overnight guests. The staff were very friendly and all of our interactions were positive. The room had a flat screen TV, clock radios with built in outlets next to the bed, the bed was very comfy and there was very little noise coming from other guests. There was a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel which also adds an option of in-hotel entertainment. Overall I would highly recommend the guildwood inn looking for a nice hotel in Sarnia.
