We stayed over Veterans Weekend to celebrate a special occasion.  The hotel was nicely decorated for autumn.  Staff were very accommodating, polite and our bartender went out of his way to make us "New Yorkers" welcome as well as the others guests that night.  Our room was neat, clean and just what we wanted.  

Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.  We will come again!

lt is an old hotel with an awesome long history of service. Our room came with a mini fridge and microwave (many hotels we've been to never had them). All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Especially Chris who took care of us when we arrived close to midnight! Their complimentary breakfast tasted amazing compared to other complimentary breakfasts I had. There was also a lot of variety to choose from! This was a great way to start our day. The dining room was nicely decorated and romantic. When we were leaving our room, the owner, Gus, saw us and came to introduce himself and start a conversation. It was nice to have met an owner who really cares about his customers 😊

We have stayed here several times and have been extremely satisfied. The restaurant is first class, servers are very professional. The breakfast is also great. Desk personnel are friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are clean and everything is in working condition. We always try to make this a stop if it fits in our itinerary.

We were in the Wilkes-Barre area last minute due to a family matter. The staff was very accommodating and the hotel was quaint and clean from what we could see. We were seeking transport to Scranton, cheap, and looking for some hospitality and directions. Jelysa, who was working the front desk, went above and beyond to help us find a way of transport. I could tell she was busy, taking calls and helping out other guests, and still she treated me with good consideration. By her treatment alone, I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay for anyone in the Wilkes Barre area! Thank you Jelysa!

My stay was extremely pleasant. The staff and the amenities were very nice and the breakfast was exceptional. The only issue I had was there was a leak in the faucet in the shower and the desk clerk immediately wrote a work order for it.
