I am not usually a fan of motels, but this was a really good experience. Facility is older but very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are small but I wasn't there for a spa experience. The staff were lovely, especially in the breakfast room and the ladies cleaning rooms. Front desk aren't as friendly ... Very much just get your request taken care without pleasantries. They could work on that a bit ... They act a bit miserable tbh. Breakfast is good! Overall a great stay in a convenient location. I was pleasantly surprised and would come again.
Stayed here 3 nights. Hot breakfast included was terrific. Lots of variety. Front desk staff very helpful in arranging a taxi for early morning departure. Room was clean and ready when we arrived.
I am a frequent business traveller, and have experience with all kinds of hotels. I must say my stay at Best Western Plus Burnaby is perfect, especially, the free breakfast staff Cong and Eva are exceptional. They made me feel even better than at home! Their optimistic and merry personality lightens up my days, as well as their impeccable cleanses, organization, and flavoured food. This is way beyond what a KPI driven system could deliver. Their bilingual service in both English and Chinese adds on top of the already perfect performance. I will definitely choose Best Western Plus Burnaby for my future travels to Vancouver. See you Cong and Eva!
Had terrible experience at this hotel. First they gave me a smoked in room, fully aware that my visit was a medical appointment. The second room I got had a noisy fridge which every time it kicked in sounded like diesel engine. Room had bad sound insulation you could hear people walking upstairs. At the time of check out the lady at the counter over bills me for the stay, good thing I looked. Worst experience I’ve had in a very longtime.
I went off the reviews, big mistake!nOld, musty, dirty stinky rooms.nNot clean, the carpet was so gross!nLinens are rough!nStay in a lot of hotels, this one takes the cake for the worst I’ve stayed at yikes!nBooked 4 nights, checked out after 6 hours.
