Excellent hotel nestled in such a quaint town not too far off the beaten path. Very pleasant greeting to a tired traveler. The hotel was very cozy and clean. Breakfast was great and I had wished I could have stayed longer. Very pleased.

Last minute reservation - couldn't use my points in another hotel so had to use it at this hotel - but the stars and comments led me to believe that we wouldn't be disappointed. We were not disappointed, Place was immaculate, looked like it has just been built. Beds were comfortable. We were always greeted, hotel staff took care of our needs immediately but the best part was the breakfast - we were filled up and with great food and the best coffee we have ever had at a hotel. Our friends that came with us said they had the best weekend ever. We will be coming back again.

Seems like an older building, wear and tear visible in places. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were quiet and reasonably clean. Did not try the offered breakfast, purpose for travel had breakfasts planned elsewhere. Be aware that this hotel has a second floor but NO elevator. You will have to hand carry your luggage upstairs if you have a second floor room...harried staff offered to help carry when I checked in, but the gentleman looked more tired than I was so I carried my own luggage up.

About a mile from downtown district. Taxi service available if you want to drink at the bars or restaurants. Very clean and well kept. Affordable too. State Police Post next door so behave. Lol

I booked two rooms for an event over two months in advance. The week before, some people changed their plans, so I had to cancel one of the rooms. When I called the hotel, they said they had forgotten to take down mg credit card information initially, so both rooms had already been canceled. After a good half hour on the phone, they managed to get a reservation set back up for one of the rooms. Because they were treating this as a new reservation, I was concerned that the price might change, but the person I spoke with conformed it was the same price. As soon as I told him that I got the new confirmation email, he said "okay bye" and hung up on me. I checked the confirmation, and of course the price had gone up by $50, despite his assurances that the price wouldn't change. Given his manner of "helping" over the phone, I decided this would be easier to fix in person. When I checked in to the hotel, the person at the desk printed out the usual agreement to sign, and it had the incorrect amount. I showed him my printout of the original confirmation at the correct price, and he scribbled out and wrote in the correct price on the agreement. I would have expected him to change it in the system and reprint it... Upon getting to my hotel room, I thought I saw a dead cockroach in the corner. It turned out to be a live cricket, which I escorted outside. At checkout, I had to wait about 20 minutes while the two people at the front desk tried to figure out how to reimburse a lady whose credit card they had charged twice. Once they finally got that resolved, they tried to print me a copy of my receipt (they seemed surprised that one hadn't been slid under my door overnight), and it took ten minutes for the printer to finally work. Fortunately, the price on the final receipt was correct. The only reason I'm not giving them one star is because the continental breakfast was pretty good.
