Great hotel right near the water. The woman at the desk that checked us in was friendly and chatty even at 10 at night. The bigger rooms on the bottom floors are quite nice with a lot of room. Our room had a bathroom, bedroom, and a small living room with a TV in between. There's also a mini golf course, exercise room, pool, and coin operated laundry room with a couple vending machines. The complimentary continental breakfast, like most Best Westerns, is simple with a lot of different choices. I would definitely stay here again for longer if I could.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with this hotel. Amazing value and incredible service. The rooms were great, the continental breakfast surpassed our expectations. Beautiful view of the sea for sunrises and watching the moon come up. The staff at the front desk is amazing!! So kind, friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Older, well maintained motel on the old Island Highway 2 km from downtown Campbell River. Everything you'd want, better breakfast than most. We've stayed at several motels here and this one is better than most. You can hear your neighbors, our room was close to an entrance so lots of traffic in the hall at times. We could hear footsteps above us so a third floor room might help with that. The fact that it was full every night probably confirms it's rate versus quality. Most Campbell River motels don't have A/C and this one was no exception but with the balcony you can leave the door ajar if needed.

I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants good prices, great service, and a casual and relaxed environment. We stay here often. They have free breakfast with a waffle machine, a beautiful view of the ocean, and very affordable, large, clean rooms. Personally, my favorite is the pool area with hottub which has fun paintings of mermaids on the wall. I find it all very relaxing.

Have stayed here several times over the years. Glad you're some recent renovations but some rooms are starting to show their age. Quiet at night even with adjacent pub. Not the worst but there are better options.
