I recently visited Best Buy with high hopes of a quick and efficient purchase. Armed with all the necessary information including product picture, web number, and model number, I entered the store only to be met with a disappointing customer service experience.nnUpon entering, a kind customer service representative directed me to an older gentleman with a moustache. This gentleman bombarded me with unnecessary questions about the device I was seeking, although I showed him exactly what I was looking for only to casually pass me off to another staff member who was already occupied with another customer. It was frustrating to have my time wasted in this manner.nnDespite the obvious inconvenience, the second staff member, visibly frustrated, rightfully declined to assist me as he was already occupied. It begs the question: why send me to him in the first place?nnReturning to the mustached gentleman, I reiterated my situation, only to be met with further delay and unhelpful behavior. His insistence that the previously occupied staff member could assist me, despite my repeated explanations to the contrary, was unprofessional.nnFinally, after unnecessary delays and unproductive interactions, I was assisted by a competent and efficient lady in the warehouse who swiftly located the item I needed. It was a relief to encounter someone who utilized their skills and knowledge effectively, unlike the other man who seemed more interested in bossing people around than actually helping customers.nnIn conclusion, my experience at Best Buy was marred by poor customer service and ineffective communication among staff members. It's evident that there needs to be a reassessment of the hiring process to ensure individuals with relevant Canadian work experience and a genuine willingness to assist customers are selected. Special appreciation to the warehouse lady for her efficiency and professionalism amidst the chaos.
I went to 2 different stores... to go get myself a new Fitbit and had 0 customer service. I had your associates in both stores, See me and turn around and leave the said aisle. And I work customer service that sucks.
The sevice Melody and Sue was fantastic!! After dealing with Samsung over the phone, I was extremely frustrated and was not in the best of moods upon arriving to the store. These ladies were extremely helpful and getting me in set up with the Geek Squad. Thanks again for the great service!!
DO NOT BUY Appliances here. I wish I could give zero stars. Brand new dishwasher leaking down into my basement from the kitchen. I have been trying to get help for 3 weeks. Another install guy came to look at it over two weeks ago and said I needed a new dishwasher and the wiring is a FIRE HAZARD. The contractors are leaving me stranded and the store as well as best buy customer service will not help. Can't believe I have spent so much money here over the years to be treated like garbage.
Very attentive staff. Every department I was in I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance. There was a good variety of products to choose from. Some of the shelves were empty and the store was really dark. I was looking for a gaming head set for my son. The pc headset display did not work. I selected a headset and quickly did an online search to check the pricing. Amazon had it on sale for 30.00 less than best buy price with free prime 2 day shipping. I checked best buys price match policy and it says they will match the price and beat it by 10% . When I was at customer service I asked her if they would price match. I showed her Amazon's price on my phone and she agreed to match the price. She didn't beat it by 10% but I didn't press the issue. At least I had the head set for the same price and didn't have to wait 2 days to get it. I'm happy with an Equal buy but it wasn't a Best Buy.
