Bert's Bakery

Went there to purchase a chocolate cake around 2:00 which they didn't have. The lady asked when I needed it and I told her today. She went in the back to talk to her colleagues and told me she could have one made before 6:00. I placed an order and it was delicious. Way to work with the customer!

We were planning a wedding from 1500 miles away, and in one of our few trips up to Michigan we scheduled cake appointments with three vendors. From the moment we tried the samples of the red velvet cake and carrot cake Amy brought out, we knew we had found the one, a cake that was both flavorful and moist! Amy talked us through everything, and it was clear in listening to her that she has a passion for this job and takes great pride in everything she does. Everything tasted and sounded so good, and we could not decide what flavors to go with… so we made each layer different! We shipped our cake topper from Amazon direct to Amy, and everything showed up looking perfect on the wedding day. After the cake cutting, the slices of cake quickly disappeared, with the final few remaining slices making their way out in to-go containers for a midnight snack. We did not save the top layer of our wedding cake, but we definitely plan on making it back to Bert’s Bakery for our one year anniversary to get a fresh slice of red velvet cake! Amy was so nice and made me and my fiance feel comfortable and secure about our wedding. She does amazing work and i cant wait for her to do my wedding cake. There cake taste so good to. 5 stars from nathan and tiffany.....

After trying several local bakeries in a desperate attempt to locate desserts that are both gluten AND dairy free, I called Bert's. The woman who answered and took my order was very warm and knowledgeable, helping me to make a cupcake choice to fit a variety of co-workers. Upon picking the cupcakes up first thing in the morning, they opened 10 minutes early and had then nicely packaged and ready to go, accommodating me so that I was not late for work. On top of that, EVERY one of my co-workers raved about the deliciousness and presentation of the treats. Way to go Bert's, you'll have our repeat business in the future!
