Story

Benjamins Realty Inc. was started by Jake Benjamins in 2002. Already an experienced broker and realtor of 20+ years at that time, Jake envisioned an independent brokerage that would be more responsive to client needs then larger firms while delivering a higher level of service. Today the brokerage seeks to carry out this vision by supplying the same excellent market exposure on MLS that all Realtors have access to while combining an increased focus on availability to our clients, training our representatives in proven negotiation skills, and utilizing innovative marketing strategies online.

We can not say enough positive things about Benjamins Realty! From the very beginning Jake was very helpful and patient with us and the amount of houses we looked at. He was  always quick concise and accurate with response and always readily available with communication. As first time home buyers this put us at ease! He was very honest about what to expect and helped us through the whole process start to finish and was a big advocate for us making it less stressful. We can not be more happy with our house! My family recently purchased a new home and sold our previous home with Benjamins Realty. John was a pleasure to work with through the entire process. I recently sold my house with Benjamins Realty and was extremely pleased with the way it was handled by Jake and his team. They were very professional and courteous at the same time. I wish to thank Jake, Mark and John, for their professionalism in the listing and sale of two properties on my behalf. Benjamins took the time to carefully market a 150 year old farmhouse in St. Jacobs that had previously been listed for over a year. Their efforts achieved a sale within a week.  They also listed and sold my custom built home on Paradise Lake with Mark bringing the buyer to the table.  Besides marketing the property, Benjamins Realty helped coordinate a contractor to finish the landscaping and drainage work for the property. The Benjamins provided clear communication, hard work and extensive marketing efforts for both of my properties.  I am happy to proffer this endorsement for their brokerage.

I found out about Benjamins Realty through a friend's recommendation and couldn't be happier to recommend them to others. My agent, Mark, was very patient and thorough with helping me find a house. I was very well informed about the houses I was seeing, similar prices of houses in the neighbourhood, and issues with any properties. Mark was quick with communications and booking viewings. He offered his advice without pushing his opinion and in the end, I ended up with a house that I am very happy with.
