Ben Gong's Tea

Had high hopes for the bitter melon lemon tea...but tastes bland; not sour and not bitter. Also had high expectation of the most expensive fruit tea I have ever purchased @ $11 for golden oolong; it was ok...but definitely wasn't worth it; especially they didn't post the price!

I especially recommend the black tea cube milk, woolong tea cube milk and grape cream tea. I tried about half of the menu. I didn’t really care for the fruit teas. Other places like “Share tea”makes better fruit teas. This place makes drinks with a stronger tea taste.

Love their oolong milk tea cube! The tea cubes are kind of like jelly cubes but tea infused. Much more unique than the mainstream pearls. I've been here many times for the past few years and the service is fine for me. So not sure why this place has so many negative reviews but I've always had positive experience. Their prices are reasonable and they are well staffed so I don't usually wait more than 5 minutes on my order.

Still one of our fave BBT shop in Richmond. Freshly used ingredients and always the right amount of sugar. There's no powder taste to it, so it's pretty good Cupping design is solid, easy to hold and drink, no hassle for taking out orders note: the Staff could be grumpy most of the time, kinda used to it now

Horrible service on Oct 4th at 2pm. Came in and was interested a "pudding oolong MILK TEA." See attached photo I went to the cashier and asked for an oolong MILK TEA and the cashier said in a condescending tone "this is a slush." I said "no I want the oolong milk tea, thinking maybe there's a slush version it says milk tea on the poster right there." She repeated a few times "no this is a slush", again in a condescending tone without any explaination on why or how this drink that looks like a milk tea and is called a milk tea a "slush". I got the drink was expecting an slush and guess what? It came out like a milk tea. Hey owners, There's a new tea shop on the block every week, why would i come back? Absolute horrible customer service. Will not return.

The fruit tea is not that sweet comparing to other bubble tea shop but the flavor is stronger as well as last longer. The price is friendly. The store is neat and clean. Fast service.

Somewhat interesting cubes style instead of pearls. There’s quite a bit of tea flavor to pick from but not my cup of tea. It wasn’t busy and wait time was a couple minutes, which is bearable. A small shop that’s not so busy, even though I thought it should be an unique bbt shop but there’s no tea scent in the shop that made me had any urge in ordering specific drinks. It’s like if you go Chatime, you might smell some tea scent and made you crave for a particular style of tea, here there’s none of that. The decoration is fancy, maybe a good place to chat a bit.

Nice location close to yaohan and Aberdeen Canada line station. Small seating area with two tables and 4 seats at the bar in the window. Creative drinks, lots on cheese drinks. I had a sparkling black tea and it was nice. I was happy to keep the container.

Very rude and unprofessional staff, went to the cashier and 2 staffs were there, doing literally nothing. Pretended like they didn’t see me until I said “excuse me” after waiting right in front of the counter for a whole minute. Later I found out they even gave me a bad review for my UberEat account, absolutely disgusting attitude. All I did was to show them my order number and said “UberEat pickup”, I didn’t say thank you when I got the order since they were being very impolite, I guess they are being petty because of that. Absolutely unbelievable.

Ordered through Uber Eats, quite like their tea infused cubes and I enjoy a stronger tea flavour. Tried their gold oolong milk tea with no ice and 25% sugar which was great.
