Belvedere Parkway School | Calgary Board of Education

This school is amazing - we have been with them for several years now, and wouldn't trade it for anything else!!! The teachers and support staff care about the students and their learning. They ensure the children receive the best education possible, and are always there to help if needed.

I am A Sub EA after returning last June. I typically only work 2 days a week however this school asked me to work 3 days. As I enjoy the school and teachers the secretaries are amazingly kind and appreciative of subs. For these 3 days I actually felt part of the school staff. It is a great school to work in.nThank you

claims to not have bullying which is absolutely not true. staff are overwhelmed and swamped the kids don't get help with keeping their thing together like mittens and the lost and found is always overflowing. the kids are always running around with their jackets undone and no one helps the little ones do them up. the garden was put in a terrible spot with no fense along the road and doesn't have full south exposure or regular recess time access for kids to enjoy the garden. the principal didn't even know about the cbe blended homeschool program even though he is a principle for the cbe. the playground and field is always filthy with litter as if the children are allowed to just run around Ferrell instead of sitting down and avoiding choking hazard while eating their snacks and respectfully being taught to take responsibility for their garbage, snack were provided without stigma so that's good. staff was a hit or miss. had to pull my kid out of a teachers class who spoke rudely to me on the first day and her fellow staff and had a great teacher once my kid was moved, the vice principle was out of this world amazing and big hearted, the office staff were a hit or miss one was warm , bubbly and helpful the other was cold and awful for the most part.

I am currently at this school and it’s a wonderful school and the teachers here actually care about the students but one thing I don’t like is that in the field during winter our chinooks come and melt the snow and freezes overnight witch causes ice to form and melt again giving opportunity to push kids into the puddles

The worst school l have seen, The teacher is very irresponsible, the quality of the students is very poor, may be related to this area, if you want your child to learn knowledge, please stay away from this school!
