That was one of the best experience that I've had with this beautiful family, they're so helpful, nice and kind. I got my driver's license with them so easy. I recommend them to all, as they are so patient and knowing their job.
Surorisingly giod service as of late, may have had some changes to their drivers ir the simple fact that Lyft and Uber are denting their income. Who knows and who cares. Theyve just gotten better
All taxi drivers. Like this This taxi he thought i am an emergency car and can park right middle of road. Disgusting. Park somewhere not on the road. And that company is the worst. Driver or company are garbage
Worst dispatch. I called ahead of time and asked for a cab to meet me outside of a skytrain station, and the guy told me to call when I get there. Okay, this is fine. I call when I get there, then he picks up and hangs up on me in the 0.5 seconds it took for me to reply. Then, I call again later after I managed to get a cab dispatched to me because it was late and I wondered if they were at the wrong entrance, and he immediately raised his voice and interrupted me to say they were on his way. I was literally just asking if they went to the wrong place. It was one sentence I didn’t even get to finish. I’m not going to call this place again because I can’t believe how rude the dispatcher was.
Taxi companies get slagged a lot. I can't say how many reviews are 100% warranted or not but I did want to share a positive experience as they came through for my mom today and it was greatly appreciated. Yesterday she left her purse in one of BelAir's cabs. She told me the cab driver walked her to her door and was very pleasant and nice but the purse was left by accident. After calling their Dispatch, they advised me the cab driver was off shift at the time but to call the next morning. Well, this morning I didn't get a call from them. I got a call from my mom telling me the cab driver had brought her the purse back. He did ask for a small payment for the time / fuel he spent where he couldn't take regular fares which he normally would have done. Considering the cost and frustration it would have been to replace everything for her, the small amount was worth it and she was sooo happy and relieved. This also was a huge benefit to us because we would have had to have booked her appointments to replace stuff and drive her to all of those. So it also helped us out a lot. Thanks to Sam, the driver and BelAir's dispatch for making this happen. We legit thought we wouldn't get it back. Cheers!
This review is only for the dispatcher and not the driver itself since I'm not the one using the taxi. I was helping out an elderly by calling a cab for them but the elderly was struggling to talk. I called the company to book a cab and the dispatcher was so rude and impatient. I understand it's a busy day for them and they are short staffed but the dispatcher didn't even wait a few seconds for me to bring out the exact address of a grocery store, which by the way has only one store in that location. He very rudely remarked that if I'm not going to tell him the exact address that he's gonna hang up as he doesn't have time to wait. I might be in the wrong for not having the exact address at that moment but the dispatcher should have shown a little understanding when I'm trying to tell him that I'm booking a cab for an elderly that I dont know. I clearly get he is overwhelmed but there is a way of saying and doing things and that person can clearly not work well under pressure.
Terrible!!! Dispatch!!! Called multiple times. Dispatch kept telling me 10 to 15 minutes...... Had to wait from 3:20 to 4pm before taxi arrived. Driver showed me he was notified 7 minutes before he arrived. Nice driver. Will not be hiring them again tho.
Worst cab company in Canada. They refuse to pick people up if they don’t think the trip is worth their time. They have verbally abused my husband. He is disabled and needs to get driven, yet they berate him cuz it’s a short trip. Made him wait 1 hour cuz they all kept denying his trip. This company is inadequate and needs to be shut down immediately. Thank god Uber is taking over and will make these incompetent rude drivers jobless. Terrible company, terrible drivers.
Grabbed a taxi from the airport to our hotel. The driver complained that the airport limited them to a flat fee. I gave the driver the address and name of our hotel. He kind of argued with me about the name of that location. He dropped us off at a Hampton Inn and insisted that it was the Hilton we were looking for. When I tried to check in I was told that I had a reservation at the Hilton up the street. We were exhausted and had to walk a couple of blocks uphill with our luggage to get to the correct hotel. I wish the driver had just gone to the address I gave him.
Today I just called a cab for an elderly who is a stranger to me, but had an unpleasant experience with the taxi company. Upon the driver's arrival, he said he couldn't find the elderly. Then he gets angry and even told me "don't call again" before hung up :
