My family and I have been camping here for 7 years every summer. It's always so much fun and I look forward to it. This year was even more fun thanks to the new upgrades. We had lots of fun riding around in the golf carts, and getting daily hugs from yogi was always amazing. The staff is so kind and fun and they make sure each camper is having an amazing time! a side note things tend to be on the more expensive side. However they offer multiple free or inexpensive activities that are fun for the whole family. They had ceramics painting from 2-15 dollars, free suncatcher painting, candy bar bingo you pay with candy and then win candy tie dye $15, free mini golf and disc golf, free pool, inexpensive fun arcade, free playground access, affordable gift shop items however they are a bit expensive per product but it's understandable and still not an absurd price, gem mining <prices vary for different amounts of crystals and fossils> and even more, we had so much fun! I'll miss you Yogi, see you next year!
It certainly has potential, but $69 for a weekday golf cart seems a bit high. $70 for 3 hrs of kayaking- too high for a family trying to do activities with their kids! At one point our grandchildren heard and saw Yogi go by and the music coming from his golf cart was, as my grandkids said” swear words” I know they lost some workers the week we were there so that may have been part of the bathroom problem. They were not kept clean. Sometimes no toilet paper. The pool area says no lifeguard which is not a problem, but it also asks parents to supervise their children, which was not happening. Somehow the campground needs to enforce that as there were children being very rude, swearing, eating in the pool. It did have free mini golf, which was nice. And you do see Yogi quite a bit. The hey hey ride was nice as well. The area is beautiful and the sites are very pretty. Unfortunately, there are large rocks on the site- hard to maneuver around them. Compared to many other campgrounds we have been too, it can’t compare. Hopefully, as the new owners do some upkeep and renovations, it’ll get better!
My family had a great week at this new Jellystone location. The activities for the children were great! The new bathrooms/showers are a nice improvement. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the new boat dock. The staff was kind. Seeing Yogi every day was fun for all ages. Looking forward to the electricity and dumping station upgrades. We did lose water for a minute or so, that we were aware of. Also, the visitor price is too high for elderly on a fixed income. They didn't want to use a single amenity. Just wanted to set on the campsite and visit out of state family. $20 per visit is too high for that. There should be a price that only allows access to the site.
We have nothing but good things to say about this campground and their staff! There are tons of activities scheduled throughout the day for kids to enjoy. The staff at the rec center are great with kids! Maintenance is quick to help with any concerns at the campsite or comfort stations. It's going to be even better with the upcoming upgrades.
The staff was excellent and so helpful! The kids loved the pool and waterslides and playing gaga ball at the playground. Lots of activities throughout the day -our favorite was the foam party. We rented paddle boards and spent a lovely morning on the lake. The campsite fit our 34 ft camper and SUV and the campground is forested - the way we like it!
They ruined the experience for disc golfers who have played and supported this gem of a course for decades. Instead of being able to pay a single round fee of $6 whenever you'd like, they are now forcing $20 per person to enter the park and are including the other park amenities mini golf and pool. Not everyone who has been coming here wants to use the pool or mini golf or make a day out of your "park amenities". We have been coming to play the course itself as its the 1st disc golf course ever built in New England. Also, my girlfriend doesn't always play, so we were told it was $40 to enter and play a round of disc with my girlfriend walking along, regardless of the fact we wanted nothing to do with the other amenities. Its day pass or nothing now and can guarantee you are losing revenue and very long time visitors of the park. Been coming here for over 20 years and will not be returning until this is changed. Complete money grab. There are plenty of other places to play nearby that are close to $5.
Really fun and family friendly campground! Has something for everyone in the family. The staff was friendly and I always felt like my kids were safe. The lake is beautiful and the pool was fun! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to camp with kids. :
We spent the summer of 2022 here. What a great adventure! So much to do. The staff really made our experience next level. Chris B in the office, Honey in the store and Alice from recreation helped us make our daughters birthday amazing. They had so many ideas. Our child and guests all commented on what a great and memorable party it was. I really have to give a huge shout out to the recreation staff Alice, Megan, Jade, Aili, Chloe, Riley and Virginia. These folks worked really hard to supply constant fun and activities for the kids. And the kids love them!! They were so fun and great with kids. We loved our time at Jellystone this summer and can’t wait till next year.
What a great summer! Don was super helpful with our wasp dilemma, he even provided cans of black flag himself! All of the staff took time to keep things organized and clean. Sad to leave for the season, excited to see what they do next year! Lots of activities and fun for all
Let me start off by saying this campground has the potential to be the best campground in the area, check in was flawless and simple. We had a pull thru, sites where very long maybe over 140’? sites are mostly level only required minor blocking on one side. tons of mature trees, water tasted great wifi was solid and consistent. Pool was on point warm and clean! The roads within campsite need work, huge rocks and roots make driving a bike a bit rough esp if you have younger kids, the beach itself is nice but small hopefully they have future plans for this potential of a gem area the beach area is cluttered with other campsites and rough looking seasonal trailers..all we could smell was weed in the area Was the $70/night worth it? Perhaps? I was expecting more amenities like working water slides, more activities for kids, an open restaurant and store that carried basic items like milk, bread, hamburger etc..also the 2 day min to rent a cart is silly, should be daily with perhaps a discount on subsequent days. Takeaway…you won’t be disappointed by the sites, however the amenities are lacking for the price.
