Beaver Bay Campground

We got to the campground before check in so the hosts told us to hang out in the day use area until our site was ready. They were nice enough to come tell us when it was ready. The site was very clean. Flush toilets, showers, and even potable water near the campsites. Loved the swimming hole the the kids and there us a great loading dock for boats, jet skis, and kayaks. Can't wait to go back.

My compliant is not toward the campsite its self, but to the bookers for the campsite!! I was suposed to go camping this weekend at the beaver bay campground (9\8) but due to the fires in that area it was unsafe for my family to camp and i asked for a refund.. She said since it is not 8 days before your checkin that there is a 0% refund!! I thought due to the curcumstances they would wace the policy! But nope!!! Its not my fault there is a fire!!! So i lost out on 100$!!!!! Very dissapointed with there service!!!

The host at the front of the park was a very rude individual. He came to our sites and complained and threatened to throw is off because of dogs. We paid extra for our cars and then he made us move them anyway. Will not be returning to Beaver Bay after many years of having fun camping there we don't like being treated like garbage.....

The host is extremely rude.we were in section A... he was right at the entrance. He went to our campsite yelled at us for being too loud (we were a little loud we were having a good time!) It wasn't quiet hour yet. He said some people left because of us (wasn't true..no one near us left) and we told him we will do our best and he said "oh no it'll needs to be better then your best" and said no cannabis was aloud or drinking. Which is fine but I don't even smoke weed so I was Insulted. He could of asked us nicely to turn down the music and give us a heads up on quiet hour. I've never ever been to a campsite like this.... I will not be returning ! If you want to have a group and camp I don't recommend coming here. At all. First time there and only time. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Great campground, however it's not open year around. I love winter camping so that's a downer
