Just got home from a four day, three night stay here and couldn't be happier! We showed up Friday late afternoon after discovering a private campground down the road we had initially planned to stay at was not suitable for our families. We got so lucky to get two adjoining spots! We had two families and two dogs with us, and the seclusion of the forest around us is exactly what we were looking for. The kids had a blast playing on the playground, parents got to play horseshoes (you can rent them), and the well maintained roads were perfect for the kids on their bikes. The hiking trails are gorgeous and won't leave you disappointed! Bathrooms are very well maintained and cleaned twice daily.. this was a very family friendly park, can't wait to to back!

Nice camp grounds with clean restrooms. Only thing is that you need shower tokens to take showers. We have a RV so we could just use the shower in that. It's a beautiful park with some nice little trails, even one to take you to the Mount Saint Helens visitor center. This also had a nice trail through some wetlands. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful to have the showers, and be so close to one of the Mt. St Helen's visitor center. I am not fond of the way the camp sites are set up. All of them have a rocky hill between the parking spot and camp site. Lots of rocks, which i tripped on at least one.

Yurts are not maintained, lots of debris on the top window and tops of all yurts. Spider webs everywhere. No table to eat inside on. Bathrooms smelled like pee. The mattress pads have fabric covers that were also stained (should pull all those off and have guests sleep on pads). Futon also had fabric that was stained. Showers were working, (have to pay to get tokens to use; should just use quarters), use the diner/laundry mat east of vamp site for showering. A little TLC and these could be really special. It's clear there's no money in Washington parks dept and that's sad. Campsite is great though. The field was mowed, toilet paper, though hard to use, was always stocked. Quiet place to be and close to great trails and fantastic visitor centers.

Quiet, despite busy weekend. Clean sites and decent bathrooms. Evening show for kids, and nice little park. Swimming and other activities within a few miles. Only downside is they were out of fire wood for the weekend; starting early Friday night.
