A group of some friends and I came to Bear lodge to enjoy a dinner and hot tub. The dinner was wonderful and the waitress was very nice. Our night was ruined when we had to deal with Jon at the front desk. From the moment we paid for our dinner he was so beyond rude and used fowl language. I can not and will not request my friends and family to stay there summer or winter.

I ate 2 meals at the Black Bear while on top of the Big Horns and both were magnificent. I was amazed to find such good food so far from civilization. If you stop for dinner, order the skillet pot pie, it's to die for. Comes in a cast iron skillet and hot out of the oven. 5 stars earned, my complements to the Chef. Thank you for feeding us, we were so hungry. Great job.

The bar staff are beyond rude and incompetent. 15 people in the bar and they guy and lady act like they are completely swamped. Tried to order drinks but the guy kept forgetting them. Went up to the bar to order food. Waited at the bar for 10 minutes, finally I asked to place an order, he snapped that I better hurry up because the kitchen was closing. He acted mad and bitter the entire time. I ordered a coke, he brought diet, I asked for a refill that never showed up. Food was gross. Meat was all fat and gristle. Rumor has it if you are not a local, they treat you like garbage. F them. Go somewhere else.

Terrible staff! The man who worked at the front desk (I believe his name was John) was one of the rudest people I have ever met. He was rude right from the start. At one point he was yelling and cussing at us all because of a simple misunderstanding. I have never experienced customer service that was this bad. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever again, and I not be back. I wouldn't go back even if someone paid me to so.

Very very RUDE staff! The front desk guy, his name is John was out of this world rude, he yelled and cussed many times at me and a group of my friend out for taking a hotub. He said many horrible things to us. We then tried to talk to the other workers to tell them about what happened and they didnt seem to care, they all told us that that is john for you. Everyone seemed to know how rude this guy was yet nobody does anything about him. He needs fired. I know many many of my friends and family who come stay at bear lodge and I will be telling each of them about my TERRIBLE experience. I WOULD NOT reccomend coming here
