Arrowhead Lodge

Stayed in a hotel room for a friends wedding. Didn't get the ground floor room I requested and the young lady at the desk didn't care. Check in was at 2 and I was there just a few minutes after 2. She could've made it right for me. Other wedding guests had similar issues and they weren't helped either. Disgusting room, not sure what was more disturbing, the bugs dropping from the ceiling, the black mold in the bathroom or hearing every noise in the rooms next door. You won't get any sleep here. I would've left but driving off the mountain in the dark was not appealing. All the buildings are run down. They have the only place in the area. Seems like their attitude is you can take it or leave it. They catered the food for the wedding. The brisket and pulled pork were delicous. That's the only reason they even got a star. Would've been nice to have serving utensils with the food though.

I used Arrowhead Lodge as my wedding venue this summer and every detail went way above my expectations, all the way from planning months in advance to cleaning up after the reception. Petie and Jared went above and beyond and were willing to help out in anyway they possibly could. They also had an employee, Sunny, who I am absolutely grateful for. On the day of my wedding there were so many things that went wrong and Sunny was there to save the day! First, my original wedding cake was atrocious (before and after pictures attached). As I picked it up the day of my wedding, I had no choice but to keep it. Sunny redecorated it and turned it into a beautiful wedding cake. Second, about 20 minutes before I was going to walk down the aisle I remembered I forgot to pick up my bouquet of flowers (which was all the way down in Sheridan). At this point I was an absolute wreck. I went to find my mom and Jared noticed me walking by. He asked me how everything was going and I angrily told him that I had forgotten my flowers. Without any hesitation, Jared took the initiative to delegate someone to make me a bouquet using mountain flowers. About 10 minutes later a gentlemen was at my door with a gorgeous bouquet and let me know that Sunny made it for me! (Picture attached) Now if transforming my wedding cake and creating a bouquet of flowers was not enough, Sunny also decorated all of the tables. All of the decorations turned out better than I had ever imagined them to. On top of all of this, the food was delicious, the servers were diligent and friendly, the bartender was personable and funny, and the lodging was clean and comfortable. I don't think I could have picked a better lodge than Arrowhead Lodge. If it were not for the Petie, Jared, Sunny, and all their other employees, my wedding day could have turned out disastrous. But because of their hard work, my wedding day was beautiful and better than I could have ever imagined it to be.

Best food on the mountain. It really is. I had a pnut butter and jelly burger sounds really weird but may have been one of the best meals I have had in my life. Friendly professional wait staff.

Went up for lunch and to check it out. Had a great Bacon Cheese Burger. Food and staff were great. Lodge has a nice cozy atmosphere. Met the very helpful owners. If you are in the area it is well worth the stop.
