The campground itself was really beautiful with the lake setting, but our tent was a bit large for the pad. It was semi-quiet and peaceful. Everyone really stuck to the quiet hours, which was nice. The vault toilets could have been taken care of better. As for things to do in the area, there is nothing and neither of us had service with Verizon or AT&T, you need to bring your own fun so be ready to hike or brings kayaks, a boat, or bikes.

Nice campground overlooking a beautiful lake

Nice quiet campground on a small lake.  No motors allowed on this lake, so canoe and paddleboats only.  Family style.  Pit toilets.  Hand pump well water.  No facilities for RV campers.  No electricity.  No RV pump station.   Mostly tent campers.  Families frequent this campground.  Not much local dining or shopping unless you go to tiny village Wabeno which is about 20 minutes away.  Charming.
