River Forest Campgrounds

Was awesome! Have stayed twice, once with a large group and just a few days ago with my girlfriend for a few days. Phill is awesome, felt well taken care of, sites are nice, electric and water works well, bathrooms and showers were decent, will be back again! Wouldn't stay anywhere else. I love the wolf river rafting is an amazing way to spend a day, relaxing and exciting at the same time.

We stayed here with a group of friends for a night of camping and rafting. Rafting was a couple minute drive. Not bad at all! The showers and facilities were clean enough. There was some sort on floors but from people tracking it in on their shoes. Perfectly fine for a campground.

Awesome wooded sites. They have RV and tent friendly sites. The RV people are pretty loud and obnoxious so ask to be far from them if you want to actually enjoy the outdoors. Tell phil what kind of campsite you need and he'll make sure have what you need as far a size, distance to restrooms and what not.

We were the only people camping there during the week, which was kind of nice. The sites are big. I expected a reasonably clean bathroom and shower for the price we paid, but was very disappointed. Facilities were gross and were never cleaned during our time there...or if they were, I couldn't tell. I wouldn't take a shower there if you paid me. Although the camp manager was very nice, I would never recommend this place due to the facilities. Boulder Lake is right next door for less than half the price (for seniors) and infinitely cleaner and nicer

Great place for camping, especially with large groups. And the rafting is great.
