Pentoga Park

A beautiful park and campground that has many shady and peaceful sites to offer for campers. And don't forget the vast swimming space that Lake Chicagoan has to offer as well.

The lake is nice and the area is relaxing. They added a bike path near by and expanded what they offered at the camp store. The bathrooms could be cleaned more often, but otherwise it is a great place to camp with the family.

A nice place to go for camping, boating, swimming or to just take the kids for a little outing. There are swings, slides for the little ones, a volleyball sand court.

I really enjoy this park. It's laid back and simple on a nice clean lake with a great beach area.

Could not be more happy with our experience. The park was well-maintained, the bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the campsites we’re pretty large compared to what we are used to. The staff was more than helpful, and the price of firewood was on unbelievable! You will have to go there to find out, but rest assured it will be the best you will ever find. Finally, the lake was such a great place for the family to hang out. Again, the grounds were perfectly maintained in the system of trails that they have on the premises lent for some great hiking opportunities.

It was very nice! I was there for a wedding and even with the park being busy because of the holiday weekend, it wasn't over crowded.

Very very busy park. Lots of kids roam unsupervised, late night noise and drinking till midnight. Our fire ring had garbage in it when we arrived. There wasn't enough water spigots for all 5 of the campers in that area had to have a splitter and share with as n adjoining site. The beach area/day use is lovely.

I have camped here when i was younger with my parents and now that my parents are passed on i take my family here to camp and my grandbaby loves it here. We love the place and the kids can do so much plus the staff is so friendly. The price is so reasonable we couldnt believe the rate. Best place to camp at. You wont regret it! Keep up the good work Pentoga Park Staff your doing a great job!

It almost looks like it did in the 80s, with a few changes. It seems to have turned into an ATV Campground doesn't seem all that bad but it could be way later at night. It didn't seem like there was a lot of gravel or mountain bike activity around here as everything seems to be large ATV or water sport related. When it comes to the culture that once persisted here, there's almost no recognition besides the few places around the area dedicated to tribal history.

Love this campground. Great clean swimming area. Clean showers and restrooms. Convenient store. No hassling of you keep party going a little late. Only thing is they should have a better reservation system. Should keep some sites open for first come first serve.
