This is one of the coolest city parks I've been to. It seems to shift in ecosystem so drastically as you walk through it. It is well maintained and the park staff have been very open to questions. It is a lovely way to make your way to the shore, with many different paths to explore. The summer concert series was absolutely delightful, and I look forwards to next year. Be warned: there is a lot of water fowl poop in some areas, so look before you sit!
One of the best parks here in Victoria. The best for joggers and cyclists. The Beacon Hill Children' s farm in here is a major attraction for kids and adults with a petting zoo. This beautiful park is full of majestic dancing peacocks , Goose's and Ducks and tonnes of Herons
Well maintained and beautiful! If you keep going south towards the water you'll find peacocks and a animal zoo which is cute. The peacocks roam freely and are docile as long as you don't get too close. Lots of amazing things to see here! Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs everywhere, it's awesome. Picnic area: There's a nice bandshell area where people were having picnics.
Amazing and beautiful walk. If you like to feed ducks. Do not forgot to bring your bird seed. We saw some peacocks in the park. Nice place to do some bike ride, I guess. We are in a hurry at the time we are here. Make sure to send more hours to really appreciate the park.
Beautiful park. Now that there isn't any tents everywhere you can appreciate the beauty of the park again! They have ponds everywhere, and flower gardens that are well maintained, and the wildlife has returned to the park. Highly recommend coming to the park for an hour. Lots of space to read a book or just enjoy life.
Such an interesting place! The bird watching is amazing here you can see beautiful peacocks and a variety of other birds. We rode our bikes around but definitely nice for a stroll or hike as well. Lots of trails, play grounds, lake. Lots to do.
Really close to Old Town Victoria, delightful green space with lots to do and see. We had some time to walk around Victoria and saw that this was a green space not too far from the bustling old town. We walked through some beautifully manicured gardens, lots of ponds with ducks and fountains, but the real surprise is the free-roaming peacocks. There is also small farm animal area, donations encouraged. There was the world’s tallest free standing totem pole on the south end of the park but ran out of time to see it up close. There’s something for everyone at this park.
The best park in Victoria. There are so many fantastic views and it's also a great place to meet up with your friends. Sometimes there's live music, and there are also pickleball courts, and also a playground for the little ones to play. There are plenty of beautiful flowers, fountains, and trees across the park. A must see for sure in Victoria!
What a wonderful stroll from the harbour to Beacon Hill Park. It’s my first time walking through Beacon Hill Park. Weather was sunny but chilly mid-February 2022. We saw ducks, herons, geese and peacocks! The Moss Lady was impressive created by by gardener Dale Doebert and Victoria city employees, so creative! This is such a lovely park. I would walk through this daily if I lived in Victoria. Next time I will bring bird seeds to feed the ducks.
The park is gorgeous. Lots of beautiful places to explore in the park. The pond and the plants around it made us feel peaceful. We felt like being in a movie setting. There were various kinds of animals in the park as well, such us ducks and deer.
