Bay Vista

A pretty good choice when visiting the Cavendish area. It's surprisingly close to attractions while staying cheaper than most places. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated and could use an upgrade but overall pretty decent. The beds are comfortable. I have found that rooms 26-29 are much more quiet and private than the rest. They have a pretty decent inground pool, well maintained and clean. The complimentary breakfast in the lodge is a nice touch. Usually consists of cereal, bagels/toast, fruit salad, coffee, tea, orange and apple juice. I have stayed here a number of times and the experience/price/location keeps bringing me back.

Cheap motel. Clean but cheap stuff from China. Keep coming loose. Nice lawn though and swimming pool. Breakfast sucks. I guess, easy availability and reasonable pricing keep it going. Beware of mosquitoes.

Great place for kids. Large open lawn for activities (football, basketball, horse shoes), great heated pool, very close to attractions in Cavendish. If in the area I would stay here again.

Stayed here for a couple of days, the rooms and the pool were both nice but kept finding beetles and different types of bugs throughout our room, I mean I guess you get what you pay for.

an old motel, quiet, but very peaceful ... strategic location, practically in the middle of the action ... we did the North Cape Coastal Drive, Points East Coastal Drive and North Cape Coastal Drive ... we headed to the east point lighthouse and then tp the north point lighthouse, from tip to tip ...
