We decided to try this place on a slow for us Saturday evening. We just moved to the area and still exploring… Let me tell you…this place is a hidden gem and i plan on being one of the “regulars” here. I am truly amazed how good the food was.

Our server Kyle was absolutely amazing! He attended to us for our every need; he was very flexible and informative when we asked questions on the menu. The vibe of the restaurant was a mix of comfortable and fancy, it gave it that homey feel while also being classical and modern. The restaurant was well-kept, very clean, and had delicious food! Even if we came late 9:00pm! and the courses we wanted were sold out, the food that was provided was one of the best fresh Italian dishes I have ever had. You could definitely tell that the pasta, sauce, cheese, and meat was locally sourced and homemade from scratch. I could not get over the tiramisu either! Our server, Kyle, was telling us the story of the tiramisu and its recipe origins; which made it even more appealing and mouth watering! My family had a pleasurable experience that we will never forget! Definitely a must come for anyone in Chicago.

BarTucci Homemade Italian is quite a treat. The minute you walk in you feel like you are a part of something special. There is nothing fancy about the place but the environment and friendliness is very unique in todays world. We felt like part of the family. Beyond the experience the food is fantastic. The 3 of us ordered different dishes and were equally as happy with our meals. Highly suggest giving this place a try!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing early Valentine's Day dinner on 02/12/22. The service was great as well, thanks to our server Jason, we had a nice conversation with him about Rome. The owner came to check on us and even handed us some Baci chocolates. We definitely will be coming back!

Have been here a couple of times! Every time is better than the last one. There is not disappoint with the food! Lovely place and atmosphere! Great service, all the waiters are really kind. My waiter Deuce, such as lovely and and energetic person!

Tucked away and hidden inside a strip mall in the Dunning neighborhood is one of Chicago's best kept secrets. Homey, inviting, and down-to-earth, they serve up fresh pasta cooked at a perfect al dente, accompanied by immaculate sauces, impossibly tender meat that slips off the bone, and all supported by impeccable service. Prices are super reasonable too for the portions that you get. BarTucci's quickly rised the ranks and has become one of my top 2 Italian restaurants. Go check this place out, you won't leave disappointed or hungry. Don't forget to pick up your favorite bottle of wine on the way as its BYOB.

The pasta here is just perfect! Best thing if you can’t go to Italy. Everything is always fresh and delusions. Service is also great.

One of the biggest things I missed after moving from NYC to Chicago was easy access to good Italian food. And thankfully, my friend and I discovered this hidden gem! Bartucci is a small but clean and cozy restaurant where you feel the Italian hospitality right away. Our servers Brian and Salvatore were awesome! Friendly and attentive, we felt like family. We ordered the risotto w/ prosciutto, squid ink pasta with lobster, and the seafood linguine. The food was good and the serving sizes weren’t too big or small. One downside would be the generous amount of sauce on the pasta. Flavor is good; I just prefer less. But the Nutella gelato… that’s a must order. Perfect way to end the meal!

I have been wanting to go here for a long time, finally made it and I am so happy we did! Amazing Service and even more amazing food! We popped in late on Sunday evening. The general manager/owner was very honest saying it has been a very busy day and we may have to wait a short period for the food but they definately will squeeze us in. So nice to have someone honest. Our waiter ACE was amazing and very attentive to anything we needed. It didnt seem like we waited at all cause the service was so good. When the food came it was BEYOND AMAZING! So delicious! My husband had the black linguine with the lobster and I had the cavatelli with chicken. We had the burrata with prosciutto for an app. It was so good, i made reservations to bring my family back next week!

Second time coming here and had the pork chops. The food is amazing here. The sauce was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. Fresh Italian bread warm from the oven and olive oil to eat as well. Great salads and desserts. I will keep coming back.
