Story

Barriques Old Sauk was opened in June 2007. It is located just west of the beltline at 8410 Old Sauk Rd.

We offer a full service coffee and espresso bar that opens early each morning. In addition to our irresistible fresh from the oven bakery, we have a light sandwich and salad menu to take care of your tummy.

For evening enjoyment we serve beer by the bottle and wines by the glass or bottle. Plus you can pick up a bottle of your favorite wine from the infamous Wall of 100!

This is a very nice coffee shop. My coffee was delicious and so is my blueberry lemon scone. I also enjoyed a spacing and atmosphere. It was rather crowded but I was able to have a wonderful conversation without being distracted while there.
My first time in Wisconsin for a conference and I decided to Grub Hub Barriques. What I ordered was amazing, however even though I asked for cutlery, didn't receive any.nnThe second night I decided to order again, but used Door Dash. I ordered something different, plus a cookie. Again, I asked for cutlery and when it was delivered, didn't receive the cookie or cutlery.nnBarriques has amazing food but would not recommend having food delivered.
Staff is very rude and snippy with you for just smoking a cigarette. Don’t ever smoke more than 5 feet near the building or something because they’ll be really pissed at you and disrespectful about how they addressed the situation.
Coffee is great, the place is nice and cozy, pretty good selection of wine and ok selection of craft beers. The baristas we're super slow on making drinks, otherwise I'd definitely give it another star, will try it again and for sure, big plus on the free WiFi, as always, make sure you use a VPN and protect your devices when using unsecured networks.
This place has not led me astray. Without a doubt my favorite of all the locations in town. The staff is great and always takes care of the guests. They might be too good at upselling the pastries but it is so worth it. The seating is plentiful and cozy as well!
