Very nice place. Crowded.  Had the old fashioned.  Very good but the rocks glass was only filled 1/2 way. Really?  I have had old fashions made elsewhere full rocks glass  for same price. Plus no cherries.  It's a nice place.

Yikes- no host/hostess on staff the day after Christmas 2017- we walked in and put our name in at 12:45pm and finally got seated an hour later... one group got seated ahead of us because they had called in (even though we had been standing there about 30 min at that point) and a small family just walked in and sat at the bar (we might have sat at the bar if we knew there were seats available).  I love the Brie bites and the Brie burger, but delicious food can't wipe away poor customer service- I'm afraid we'll have to try new Geneva places...

I’ve visited Barrel and Rye a few times and was throughly impressed.   This time around I was very disappointed.  The food portions were very small, food was subpar, and it was too expensive.  I don’t understand what has changed here lately but B&R needs to step it up.  Did management change?

The duck poutine is to die for! The right about of flavor and the gravy is just rich enough. A perfect balance of spices. The bourbon fizz and sacred sage drinks are the right strength, but sip! XD
