Always a fun time. It's so hard to have my kids there as the park gets filled with teenagers. I wish it started earlier than 4 to feel safer about bringing younger kids
Went to the Barnstable Fair. The cape cod fair grounds was well kept and much larger than I expected
Cape Cod campgrounds is a pretty good-sized here people are really nice if sometimes you get people that go to the fair and they really irritate some of the vendors they sell their stuff in that is not good you will go to jail so please do not sell anybody stuff because you will go to jail please go to Every Single booth and at least try to buy something from each one of them if you can a lot of the vendors didn't get a lot of people this year they didn't make half the money that they were supposed to they're so focused on just going on rides I understand going on the ride to find but you also have a lot of these vendors that are out there that are raising their family
We love going to the Barnstable County Fair here at the Fairgrounds every year! The space is well-kept & tidy. Access to relatively clean restrooms are throughout the grounds with attendants maintaining the rest areas. They added solar panels to the parking areas & it's wonderful! The cars are kept in the shade & the panels supply electricity to the Fairgrounds!
So disappointed. Left after an hour and a half. Spent over one hundred for just my fiancée and I for nothing. I think the parking attendant was special needs and he wasn’t directing traffic properly. We were the one lane that got messed up and almost got blocked in. The cars to our left parked wrong and the cars to our right plus us parked right. Was supposed to be two cars then a open lane, two cars then an open lane. Our lane, he let three cars park. We parked and he let cars park behind us blocking us in. We barely got out but the cars to our right won’t be getting out unless the cars behind them or in front move. Everything was so expensive at the fair and it’s half the size it used to be. We walked around and we’re so disappointed. Half of the animal cages were empty and half of the animals were rabbits. Not that rabbits aren’t cute but every building had rabbits in half the cages all over…. We came early expecting to stay all night and just left. I can’t even imagine what parents with families are spending in money for this subpar experience. Sad because the fair used to be great when I was younger.
When u go to a fair u expect it to be expensive it's no more expensive than fairs in my own town. This fair has a lot to offer, a lot of rides and games. They have a lot of options for food for all taste buds, sum not so good, sum great, I had the bbq, which was damn good! And as far as the petting zoo goes this is in reference to another's negative review it's great for the kids, besides the exotics, most all of the animals are from local stables and farms and do NOT travel from state to state, so I doubt any animal cruelty going on here. I paid 24 dollars to get in for 2 adults and my daughters were free kids under 6 are free and we got to see a demolition derby at no extra charge which was badass! So all in all, if u like fairs its a good one to check out!
I went to the Fair on opening night. I was disappointed that there were not as many animals as I remember. The rides were numerous and the food selection was good. I also enjoyed the music. Not as many vendors as I was hoping but a good time!
It wouldn't be summer without the fair and of course the demolition derby.
It was fun. Some rides good.. its a nice seen on the ocean
Nor as much to look at this year. The grounds looked nice, they are definitely working on improving the area. I love the gardens by the entrance
