A great place to learn about the history of the USCG.

This was such a cool place to visit. Both of my parents were in the Coast Guard so I wanted to go there to see all.of the history items. They had a massive amount of things dated very far back. I would go back again. They also gave tours.

Closed for remodeling, reopening in May. Open Tuesday thru Saturday,  1000hrs till 1500hrs. Free for active Coast Guard and family. Membership available.

Informative staff and interesting pieces of history

The museum is interesting. 
The questionnaire for the kids to look and find is out of order and the answers are not always available in the museum. 
The Blacksmith garage behind the museum was interesting too.
