Story

The Barkley Cafe is centrally located in beautiful Ucluelet, on Peninsula Rd, beside the Info Center. It offers a cozy, funky vibe with a wide variety of delicious Organic, freshly roasted Specialty Coffees & 100% Organic Teas. Awesome breakfast burritos, bagels, and English muffin breakfast specials.
"To Go" Sandwiches - great for picnics, beach trips & boat trips.
Seasonal salads & soups.
Exceptional, delicious, house baked goods - loaded with nuts & fruits.
Our Coffee is of the finest & freshest quality. Our experienced, knowledgeable & dedicated roasters work closely with the international coffee farmers to fairly support their farms and communities. All beans are hand picked, fairly traded, and naturally shade grown.

3/5nDecent food, but the service was disappointing. The staff member taking our order seemed unwilling to smile, which felt out of place compared to the warm hospitality we experienced elsewhere in Tofino.nnWe ordered a veggie sandwich, a panini they were out of ham and suggested a veggie version, hot chocolate, and a cappuccino. The drinks were beautifully presented, and the veggie sandwich was delicious, but the panini was essentially the same as the sandwich—just less tasty.nOh, I forgot the cookie and the banana bread. For me, both of these were not up to mark. Wouldn’t recommend.nOverall, expected better service.
In the span of our 5 days in Ucluelet, we visited this establishment 5 times! And it was a smash hit each and every time. We didn’t mind returning. Amazing food, incredible pastries. The breakfast was delectable. Such a pleasant treat for our vacation.
Truly amazing, the mocha latte I got is definitely one of the best I ever get, and I did get a lot through my travels. This is the charm of extremely small towns: they brew coffee and serve food with love that can't be matched by big cities. The staff is so so welcoming! Everytime I’m in Ucluelet, I’m gonna make sure to stop by here. Amazing amazing amazing
