A great bar. Sylvain and the other bar staff were great. Sylvain took the time to set out the many different absinthe's they had and explained each. The absinthe bottle pictured is what he recommended and it was excellent.

Bar area is cool, sat in a private lounge area next to an electric fire and the drinks were good. Ordered Calamari and it tasted as if it was cooked in old oil. The service slow and when we asked for water it never arrived.

If you want to try the green fairy then this is for you! Great hotel bar although their Absinthe collection could be much bigger given there are more than 100 varieties out there. If you want the intimate experience , call ahead and book the two secret rooms in the back of bar ;)

An enjoyable place if you want to try absinthe. The barman did a good job explaining the difference between brands and had good recommendations for absinthe newbies.

Hotel bar, so hotel bar pricing. That said, pretty cool spot, good absinthe selection, friendly & knowledgeable bartender. Good starting spot.
