Balzac's Niagara-On-The-Lake

The atmosphere of this location is very welcoming and warm, it’s tidy and clean, and has relatively decent space to walk and maneuver inside without feeling crowded! You’ll have no problems finding seats as there’s indoor and outdoor seating, so if you desire to take a moment to relax, you will 100% be able to take a moment to enjoy your coffee and snack. Unfortunately, there is a set of stairs to get inside the building, so it’s not fully wheelchair accessible.nnThe staff are nice - Service was great, my barista made a little bit of extra coffee for me and poured it into a slightly bigger cup! It wasn’t too busy here, when I first arrived to when I paid and left this location, it was a 5ish minute period.nnThere is street parking right outside, but it’s paid street parking. There is free street parking, but you do have to drive around a little bit to find it - There is a paid public parking lot basically right behind in the back, but I believe you also have to pay to park.

On a recent visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake, we stopped in at Balzac's for refreshments after walking around town.nnThey have a lovely spot with cozy seating inside and out. It was nice to get out of the heat on this hot summer day.nnMy friends had cold drinks, while I had hot coffee. What was I thinking? It was a hot day! At least it was a good cup of coffee.nnThe place was clean and the staff were friendly. Good spot!

The iced Americano was nice and refreshing. Prime location in Niagra on the Lake with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with nice ambiance. The lady making the drinks was very committed & dedicated. She would go as far as announcing out loud each drink she was about to make so that the customer gets a heads up and she was so accommodating.

If you like pumpkin, you need to try their Harvest Latte! Best pumpkin latte you will buy, and it actually has some pumpkin in it! The staff know their products and take pride in their Java!nTheir coffee is also great, and you can buy their beans to take home!

Lovely place to have coffee in Niagara by the Lake. They had a wide selection of different coffees and roasts, I just went for the cappuccino which tasted great milk could’ve been a bit more foamy but wasn’t a dealbreaker. Service was very friendly and welcoming, I also learned that this cafe used to be a train station which is an interesting piece of local history I can appreciate. Would happily come back again in the future!
