I went to Baker’s Park for a work function where we played disc golf and had a catered lunch. This was the first time I had been and overall, I am impressed. The park was perfectly manicured, clean, and there was ample parking. The park was so huge, there was plenty of room for everything the 50 people in attendance wanted to do. most impressive was the clean restrooms and diabetic sharpie containers. Well done!
Great park to spend time outdoors in any season. This park is famous for the disc golf. The river makes it beautiful.
Favorite park in Calgary, clean, nice grass, lots of areas to hang out in. If you are going to play discgolf, this is the place to go play!
Beautiful park in the NW of the city. Connects to Bowness park. Has a disc golf area which a lot of people seem to enjoy. An off leash dog park is nearby as well. There’s also a boat launch.
Nice place to enjoy a quite time. Many people were enjoying walking, picnic, and tanning.
Absolutely beautiful place, ideal for walking, running, picnicking and relaxing & enjoying the view
I'll be back. Calgary has some beautiful parks along the river. This one good for seniors, children as from my short visit it has easy walk score plenty open room.
Baker Park and Bowness park are opposite each other on two sides of Bow River. There are two Bridges allowing pedestrians to walk around the river through two parks. Parking in each park. Visit both parks in one trip. See my review on Bowness park for details and pics. No entry fee no parking fee. Bring your own drinks and snacks.
Great park, love the Disc golf course, which was recently updated with new baskets and a new layout! The park looks best in Autumn, great time and place for family Christmas photo shoots. The map located on the park as well as the info signs desperately need updating and are the only thing stopping me from giving baker a 5/5. Great park though.
Really nice park to head out for a walk either direction on the bow. They have frisbee golf and a nice flower section. Good spot to dip your toes in the river if your brave enough. Current is pretty strong. Bowness park is right on the other side. Better for young kods over there with lots of parks.
