Bake Code - North York

Amidst COVID, this place gives me something to look forward to! Friendly staff, and the most delicious Japanese Strawberry Shortcake... fluffy, light, and not overly sweet. Their other desserts are good too, but these cloud cakes sell out quickly!

We received a box full of miscellaneous filled croissants - they were quite tasty and buttery. Personally we enjoyed the coffee flavoured one the one with the pipette in it and the matcha ones green. The cakes are also very good, well worth it for a little indulgence!

Still making nicely baked 'French' pastries with an Asian twist. Seems fairly consistent in quality over the past couple of years. Macaroons are generous in their fillings.

Bake Code have beautiful looking pastries, baked goods and drinks. The presentation is stunning and the bakery is clean and inviting. go and support local even if it is buying only one item. Take your loved ones and share experiences and memories. Trust me kids remember these things fondly when they become adults.

Pretty interiors, great location, friendly professional staff... but the real treat are the pastries!!!!! I had the almond croissant, and their coffee mousse was a light dream. Very talented pastry chefs at work there. A really great idea for gifts, and you can order out.
