If you are one of those people who travel for the pleasure of experiencing places as they are lived by the people there, then you may want to consider this place. There is a certain charm in slowing down and taking in a place and Ken is someone who knows how to draw out that aspect in his visitors. His BnB is quite unique, charming, comfortable, clean and wonderfully peaceful. But that is not even the best part. When you wake up at Ken's place and sit on his breakfast table you will see wonderful and delicious pieces of magic appear before your eyes, magic that will slow you down, calm the noise in your head and set you off into Montreal without leaving his table. We stayed for three nights in the Sunrise room and spent a good part of the morning enjoying the delicious food ken prepared, wonderful specimens of art, really. There is wonder when you are brought a baked artichoke stuffed with a slice of salty bacon and puffy egg white. For those who like to see a place through its people, you are in luck here. Ken is, quite frankly, just a really interesting person. Simple breakfast banter will make that clear enough and if you need any further evidence, ask him for recommendations. The man is a master guide of Montreal (and i say this having visited the place as a tourist more than 5 times). So, again, if you are not averse to local insight and if that perverse compunction to plan and configure has not completely taken you over, if you are enjoy the occasional surprise then ask and you shall be pleased to receive. Needless to say, i highly recommend a visit.

We would return in a heartbeat. Great Location convenient to the metro. Quiet at night but in three minutes you can be at a street full of restaurants or turn the other way and you are at a beautiful park. The Owner Ken is fun, talkative and knowledgeable about the city. He suggested great itineraries each day and we were never disappointed. Each afternoon until late in to the night we were at the Montreal Jazz Festival and had a blast. Then we jumped on the Metro and were back at our B&B quickly. The breakfast was gourmet and prepared you for the day.
