Nice to see a new mexican restaurant downtown! This one is not like the others and that's exactly why it is good. Their menu covers brunch, lunch and dinner with a nice variety of dishes. This is not fussy food, it feels very authentic and home cooked. They have an open style kitchen so you can watch and smell your food begging prepared. Gives me old school diner vibes for sure. I'll definitely be back to try more items from the menu and revise this review. Staff were friendly and offered to refill my tortillas and salsa when they got low.

We discovered this new Mexican Diamond in Victoria!! We surely had to try it!! We found out that they have just opened today!! We tried 4 different dishes and we were absolutely WOWED!! The taste of the food, the music, the ambience transported us back to Mexico!! Made us feel at home!! Thank you guys!! We wish you all the best!! We will be coming very often!!! Been to Victoria now several times and just discovered this place now. The food is fantastic! the 35 min wait was worth it. Will definitely order from here again for sure!

Azteca Tacos & Grill is the best street mexican food in Victoria, hands down. One of the places you want to go out of your way to support durong COVID. Always very friendly! Oh and chips and three delicious salsa's to start!

Delicious Mexican food! I got the Birria Burrito with fries. I was accidentally served rice instead, but the amazing service fixed that up right away also it let me learn that the rice is very tasty too! Comforting food and atmosphere!

Seriously great food. A huge meal for a very reasonable price. Has Taco Tuesday, and enchilada Wednesday.

The food last year was fantastic, definitely my go to. Over the past year it seems to have gone downhill a bit. The fried beans are bland enough they taste like water topped with cheese. The fries they used before were thick cut and so good, the new ones are thin and not as good. I always order again in hopes things will change back as they used to be my favourite!

Overall a good experience. The food was good but would have liked to have salsa at the table instead having to ask for it only to find out they have multiple types available. We had seafood tacos and the taco sampler. All of the tacos were really tasty. As were all of the drinks we ordered. The service was slow but overall good. I did not mind waiting for food to come out but for how long we waited I would have expected it to all come out at once instead of one at a time over the course of 30 minutes, despite the fact that we were a table of five. I got the impression that the staff was new and a little overwhelmed. The restaurant atmosphere was fun and relaxing and very clean. I think that as they work out the post COVID bugs like hot sauce and napkins at the table things will only improve for them. Would totally go back and recommend to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.
