Avis Car Rental

I'm a regular renter that keeps coming back for the service and the fact that they will go out of their way to get me the vehicle I want. Can't say they are perfect but they do the best they can with the tools they have available.

Bunch of crooks. I think this company is a fraud and they subscribe your credit cards to overcome their loss and charge you on monthly basis. Something different everytime. Do nottttttt ever rent car from them take a taxi instead that be cheaper no matter how far you are going. Charged me a for toll ticket although I took a no toll highway. And they are not able to give me any proof for that too.

Can't leave any lower than one star, if I could I would. Booked a car for the day, trudged nearly 3km in -11°c only to be told that my visa credit card would not work (it does everywhere else here). Nor would my 3 debit cards (all Australian, 2 Visa 1 MasterCard). Person behind counter was saying declined, yet when shown the screen it was simply telling him to enter some details manually (presumably for international card). Of course cash is no good for hiring a car. Was a waste of time and energy.

Awful experience. Make sure what you sign and take lots of pictures around the rental car before you sign agreement. Carefully inspect the car because they are not transparent. Watch your credit card statement upon returning the car and dispute transactions for unexplained charges. Sub standard parking lot.

I wrote a bad review at first because of the abusive tariff they gave us; but I'm changing it because we talked with one of the employees and he treated us really good after the first impression, and he was actually very helpful and friendly. Sorry about that first review, we just had to use dialogue on the matter.
