Avalon Salon & Day Spa

Questionable quality of polish used, appointments always 20-30 min late and the manager of the salon has quite disrespectful tone when she speaks to clients. There are nice ladies working in the salon, and i feel very sorry for them. In my opinion Avalon salon uses low quality products. My non chip manicure chipped off a day after the manicure and i had to come back for the fix. The very next day i had to travel to Milwaukee and a nail chipped off again. I had to stop by a salon in Milwaukee and spend my time again to fix the nails (again) The other salon used exactly the same OPI polish and (oh miracle) my non-chip was not chipping off anymore. A lady in that salon explained to me that some salons dilute a polish to save money. In any case i am never coming back. I can probably deal with a bad product and try a different polish, but disrespectful attitude I can not tolerate.

Great place! I walked in hoping for a pedicure in a hurry and they were very accommodating. Even though I did the "buff n' polish", which is there express service, it was still very relaxing and thorough. My toes look great and I'll definitely be back!

The massages at Avalon are relaxing. The massage therapists I have had were responsive to my needs (talking or quiet, pressure adjustments and focusing on specific muscles). The locker area is always clean and well stocked. I will continue to go to de-stress :)

I love the work that they do. I miss my old stylist who moved on but Elisabeth is fun and does a good job with the highlights! Only downside is price. It is expensive and I have to ask for gift cards for holidays to make it work.

I absolutely love Avalon. I've been going here since I was in high school (woah, about 15 years!). I have used them for massages, facials, hair cuts/color treatments, nails and waxing. I've always been either very pleased with the service, or very pleased with how they've ever dealt with the few occasions when I've been unsatisfied with my services. Would recommend them a thousand times over for any service.
