Automotive Radiators By Pat's Radiator Service Ltd

Just had my Radiator pressure checked. I lost a litre of antifreeze over 3000kms. They couldnt find the leak and charged $71 for 30 mins of work $35 for every 15 mins ???OUCH! I thought they were joking around but nooo... they were not! I felt taken as the charges were totally unfair in comparison to the work performed. It was my first trip and last to Pat's. If you plan to Go bring loads and loads of cash or a valid credit card to pay, even if the problem is not corrected. I normally go to a big car dealership whose rates are realistic and fair. Had no choice but to go to a radiator place when it came to pressure testing out the radiator. FYI: Most radiators cost $100 avg. New. I couldnt give zero stars so hence the one star rating.

I've been going to Pat's for years now and they always do good work and charge less than most mechanics. Back when I was a student and had an old car that was dying they'd recommend some basic things I could try and fix on my own to save some cash and then if it was more complicated I'd bring it in.

I find the people here to be helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Pat has a history of classic car performance and works on performance vehicles too....a nice touch.

I bought a new plow truck not realizing the fisher plow it came with had no shoes for plowing on gravel and no way to mount them. (Xblade) All my plowing is on gravel. The guys at Pat's found a way to neatly add heavy duty shoes with some custom welding. Could not ask for a better job.
