Auberge Royal Versailles

We got offered to upgrade our room to one of the suites for $30 extra/night when we arrived, and we decided to go for it. The suite was very nice! The jacuzzi tub was great. The only issue with this very nice room was that there was virtually no counter space in the bathroom, and the shower was fairly small. This hotel is very conveniently located - there is an entrance to the Metro right beside the parking lot, and across the street, there is a big mall and a few grocery stores. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but it's only for breakfast - and it's not included (I think it was $13 extra per person, per day, to have breakfast at the hotel). There are a few places to eat in the mall though. Overall, we had a great experience staying at this hotel. It was very nice.

Stayed 2 nights during our quick road trip to Montreal. The room felt a little dated but room was clean and bed was comfortable. Not noisy. And very convenient to the metro so we left our car parked here and took the metro everywhere. Staff were helpful when I asked some questions about taking train. The breakfast was ok but if it's not included in your room fee I would say better to find breakfast elsewhere if you can wait to eat.

The sink wouldn't open but the lady at the front ran down in a second and proped the drain open with a plastic knife. This must happen often. The room has an off smell but it was permanent. An air freshener in front of the cooling unit got rid of most of the smell in 10 minutes. The fridge is cool enough for fruits and such but not cold enough for ice cream :(. There was one open outlet but it was behind a giant cabinet. Other than that we needed to sacrifice a lamp to use outlets.

The hotel was clean and updated, we had a very enjoyable stay. The only improvement I would recommend would be softer mattresses, they were a bit too firm.

This hotel was a total toast! Got upgraded in a suite, with a bath. Very comfy. The room was clean, beautiful and well-décorated. Highly recommand!
