Horrible. I ordered the 8" pizza sub off of their HOT SUB MENU and pulled a soggy cold bun with barely melted cheese and raw pepperoni on it when I got home. I called to ask what they did to it and I was told If I wanted a HOT sub toasted I would have to ask and that all they did was microwave it. THEY MICROWAVED A PIZZA SUB. Just....wow. I worked in a salad bar for 3 years and I would never serve a customer food I wouldn't personally eat. I would not/will not eat this nor would I be proud that I served a customer food this horrible.
Nice place! Great food with HUGE potions!!! Staff was friendly. I do feel like the location was a bit dark inside and could use some brightening up with better lighting and some lighter colors. Kinda felt like I was at a bar rather than a food joint. Either way I would recommend eating here especially if your hungry!Food: 4/5
I love it! The food is great, the Torpedo 12" is my go to and the humungous taco is amazing! My parents were new in town and I went here after my car accident with my mom, the best food! The staff are great, I love finding these types of places. The pride of Port Colborne in sandwich artistry and beyond! Thank you Food: 5/5
It was my first time visiting Archie's for take-out. I ordered a 12 inch steak sub. It was piled high with steak, onions, mushrooms, green peppers and melted cheese. I have to say that it was the best hot sub sandwich I have ever had. The price is right in terms of what you get for the money. It fed me three meals it was so big! It'd be perfect to share with someone or for those with hearty appetites. The staff are very friendly and the place is spotless. There are even tables should you choose to dine in. I can't wait to try out some of the other menu options. Way to go Archie's!
I have been a customer of Archies Subs for over 17 years and the quality of their product has always been amazing. I found their business when I started working for a print shop called Davies Stationery and after all these years, they still remember my order! And now, running my own print shop, we are happy to work alongside Archies to create their menus and signs, and ordering our lunch today with the same fixings as all those years ago reminded me just how awesome their food is. Lori and staff are efficient at their job and happy smiles while doing it, and every time I order from them, i'm never disappointed! We are so proud of this locally owned business and wish them great success in the future!
If I could give this place no stars I would!!!I get that we're all in a hard time right now but you're only supplying take out and you can't get that right?My son is allergic to onions so I specifically asked for no veg on his sub and they piled on everything,I asked for two Nickelodeon and a clubhouse,two large fries and one small fry and all we got was one large fry??The Nickelodeon did have a ton of beef however the bun was burnt and the meat was cold, also there was only a few green peppers and mushrooms. The only reason I am complaining is this was not a cheap order and the care that went into this meal was subpar at best! Also we were even asked if we wanted to tip!!! Sorry but this was the first and LAST time we will be there!
Archie's in Port Colborne Ontario is a hidden Gem. The food is excellent, the portions are huge and the staff are friendly and kind. This is the Torpedo sub. You will not be disappointed!!
Excellent subs on fresh buns piled high with meat. This isn't your cheap Subway cold cuts either. This is good quality meat like you would expect to buy at your favourite deli counter. They also have other dining option that I'm not really familiar with.
Worst BLT in a while. Stale bun. Very light on the bacon, despite asking for extra bacon. Had better BLT's from Subway. Sad.
So Archies's Sub and Eatery have been on my list of "must try" for a bit now. I finally checked that box. This shop is known for their fantastic subs, however, the menu has much to choose from. On this visit, I ordered a salami sub. With the meat piled high and toppings many; wear you fat pants if your ordering a 12" sub, Archie's is bang for your buck and, with quality. My mum took on the torpedo challenge... 12 inches of 6 meats! Tapping out halfway through with a brow-line of meat sweats, "WOW" was all she could say. Archie's is iconic in Port Colburn, found under a yellow submarine on the main street. This place is a must try!
