Good for breakfast and fantastic canal view. Good place to see large ships passing by. Affordable price and friendly owner.
Food was average, service was average, kitchen had a hard time getting food out for our larger group of 9. One of our group had to wait much longer then the others to get food. We did have a reservation so our group was expected. Atmosphere is really nice in the dining room but the washroom facilities need a reno. It was run down and 1 of 2 stalls was out of order.
Ive been here multiple times in the last couple weeks, and I adore it. The food is not greasy arrives at a normal pace and the service is lovely. Many breakfast joints in Port Colborne are greasy spoons. This place does not fall into that category. I highly recommend coming here for a nice breaky and enjoy a nice view of the canal while you are at it!
Beautiful view! A little surprised that substitutions are strictly forbidden, so beware if you would like perch and salad instead of perch and chips etc. If you get the iced tea unsweetened, you’ll likely want to cut it with water, it is extremely strong. Chicken souvlaki was good, but at $17.00 for a screwer of chicken with a small Greek salad and small Portion of fries, it was a bit expensive for what it was. Coffee had a faint taste of chlorine. All in all, food was mediocre, service the same.
Very basic. Food was tasty and service was quick. I had a BLT and home fries with coffee. Inside is very Spartan, not a lot to mention. Nice location on the water is it's plus.
Very slow service, Greek Salad appeared to be made with hamburger toppings iceberg lettuce, hot peppers??? Reuben Sandwich with no Thousand Island Dressing, minimal sauerkraut, and a very processed tasting cheese. On Mothers Day really poor service for our group of three MOMS, they thought they were really busy but they are obviously just not used to serving more then a couple tables at a time. Most restaurants would consider that a good thing called business! Never eating there again and certainly not going to recommend it. Unfortunate because of nice location.
Being a little bit slow if busy is understandable but over 40 minutes of wait when only a handful of tables were occupied was ridiculous. Food was horrible. Overpriced for the portion specially the poutine and was cold. Last of all the waitress was lost and could not remember anything and took forever just to bring us cutlery and water!
My husband and I have been coming here every month for 3 years. The breakfast is excellent. We love the hash browns and the veggie omelet. Great service
Relaxed place to eat and watch the ship's go by. Average diner type menu. Always a decent meal. Bright inside with lots of comfortable booths. All day breakfast too.
Fantastic, Canadian Food Amazing view of The canal. I watched the ships go by, while i ate. I Have been coming hear for a while and i just had there lunch menu and i could not understand why they weren't packed full. Definitely a Must try in Port Colborne.
