Story

Aphrodite In Me Spa is an independently owned small family business located in the heart of Rutland. The owner Dawn Thiessen, has over twenty five of years of experience as an esthetician and five years as a licensed instructor in the spa industry. All of Aphrodite’s spa treatments can be customized to our client’s specific needs. We pride ourselves in being able to provide several options in our spa treatments. Our staff here at the spa strive to deliver the best possible care and attention during your service in order to provide our valued customers with an amazing, and relaxing experience. We also provide unscented options for those clients with allergies or sensitivity to scented and/or perfumed products.We care about our environment so we support local as well as herbal naturally made products for your service and retail requirements. Reviews

I get pedicures and recently a fancy manicure for a wedding. These ladies go above and beyond to accomodate schedules and preferences.  I love that they are artistic and can give suggestions and work to make the final product beautiful.  The site is relaxing and I always feel welcomed by every tech there, not just the one I am booked with.  I love that it doesn't feel pretentious, instead it is soothing and down to earth.  The prices are very fair and I wouldn't spend my 'me time' anywhere else!

I went there multiple times and never once was I asked if I would like a beverage, even though it stated that a drink is complementary. 
I went there for a brow tinting and specifically told the lady to leave them bushy. Basically,  to not really wax too much, more just to shape them. She never even told me when she was putting the wax on. It surprised me b/c it was very hot. I looked in the mirror and she waxed soooo much off. Just how she would like it but not me. Was very disappointed about that. 
I also went in for a massage. It was nice but the bed was squeeking the whole time. I was also never asked how much pressure I would prefer. 
Overall it was an Ok experience but there are definitely better spas in Kelowna.

My experience with Aphrodite In Me Spa has been truly amazing! I scheduled an appointment with Dawn for an hour massage with a 30 min reiki session and it was incredible! I highly recommend this place with 10 stars!!!

Would love to give you business if you ever answers your phone. I’ve called several tones over the last one year and not once has the phone been answered.
