This place is comfort food done right! The portions are very filling and the price is pretty reasonable. Food tastes good and I had no complaints. Definitely get some of those tasty cinnamon rolls, they give you 2 as a single side! The place was packed during rush hour lunch time, so get there earlier than noon or after 1pm sometime during the weekends. Definitely recommend.
Visited this breakfast place on Sunday. The big advantage they have a parking. We came at 10am and got a table immediately. The portions are really big. But it was tasty. I like breakfast bagel with a side of cottage cheese. We also tried cinnamon rolls and muffins which are insane! Hot chocolate was very good also. The only thing that I didn’t like they served sweet dishes first. So we got muffins and cinnamon rolls first and then savory eggs. Which is kind of weird. The waitress wasn’t very nice and didn’t offer an extra chair as we got a table for 4 while we were 5.
Delicious food, great service, easy to see why this is a Chicago favorite. We came here for the cinnamon rolls and were not disappointed. The photo is of just one serving of cinnamon rolls which you can get as a side *initiate the drool*. My partner got the V4 omelette and I opted for the a la crate Swedish sausage and “hash browns”. I’m from the south and here we considered diced cooked potatoes as “home potatoes”. Everything we ate was delicious and the recommended brown mustard complimented the sausage and potatoes really well. The entire place was decorated well and the service was great! 10/10 would recommend.
If you love Cinnamon roll, then THIS is the place to go. My kids loved the roll, but I thought stuffed potato pancakes were great as well. Strawberry banana smoothie complemented the meal. Service was fast and friendly. No reservations needed.
The service was excellent. The cinnamon rolls were extremely sweet. I had the vegetarian wrap with hash browns and tomatoes. We also had the lumberjack wrap. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service is incredibly fast and efficient. So if you’re in the mood for eggs and cinnamon roles, this is your place.
Beautiful Holiday decor and amazing fresh food. I would be a regular here if I lived here! The cinnamon rolls are soft and fluffy! I could not finish the food, there was just so much to eat!Food: 5/5
Yes yes yes!! This is a must for brunch/breakfast when in Chicago! They are known for their cinnamon rolls so you have to try them! A lot of the plates come with the 2 sides and you can actually do cinnamon rolls and some other great items as sides. It is also BYOB they provide mimosa fixings so bring a bottle or 2 of champagne! This location has a target across the street so could also grab some there. Staff was also super friendly!
Soooo delicious! We were seated quickly on a Sunday morning. They were really busy so it took us a bit to get our orders in. The food was so good. I got the salmon eggs Benedict. But my favorite was the cinnamon rolls. I see why they are so famous for them. Would definitely come back again!
They do make a solid cinnamon roll The Salmon & dill omelette was also better than I expected. The portions are huge —every egg dish comes with not one, but two huge sides. I made a mistake with the hot biscuits though, I was expecting southern-style buttermilk biscuits. Whatever this Swedish biscuit was, I wouldn’t exactly recommend it.
Probably the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever tried. The eggs Benedict were fine. The place was really full of people and the acoustics of the place are not the best so it was pretty loud all the time. The service was fast and nice.
