The food is authentic and very similar to what you would get in Southern India. The food is spicy and delicious but the quantity seemed less. The chicken pieces in the curry were very small and less in numbers although the curry itself tasted good. The experience was good right up until the bill was delivered as there were extra items that were added in the bill. Could have been an honest mistake but the item wasn't close to anything we ordered.
Ambience was good, food came out quickly and service was great. Started ordering food and the server said sorry we don’t have that item, ordered second and again that was unavailable. It would have been better if they can let customers know which items from menu is not available as soon as they are seated to make it convenient. Had chicken soup which was super spicy, didn’t expect that. Dosa was really good and fresh.
This place has a variety of Food options from Southern parts of India, all the way from Dosa to typical Non-Vegetarian Chettinad food. The Flavours are very authentic to what you’d find back home but I was a bit disappointed with the quality of Chicken that they used for their Anjappar Chicken masala. The chicken pieces were very teeny tiny and seemed like the leftover chicken pieces in a large portion of curry. We ordered Prawns fry but what came out was more like Prawns masala however the taste was pretty good so we didn’t really mind. The Andhra Chicken wings were actually Chicken Lollipop tossed in some special masala and tasted good. Communication with our server was a bit confusing and they also charged an extra item on our final bill. Overall, the food here has good taste but is pricey & the quality/ quantity of meat did not justify the pricing. They do serve Kingfisher Beer which is a good nostalgic touch, IYKYK!
Felt like having some chettinad style chicken, got bak here after several years. Ordered at 430 and My order was for 6 pm pick up. I had to drive from milton i gave another 20 mts buffer n got there at 620. They took my payment n said they have a large catering order and it will be just 5 minutes. It was 655 finally wen my order was ready. Several folks were waiting n frustrated. Same line to all. Large catering order pls wait 5 mts. Got bak home and the food quality was really bad, the chicken is rubberish, in the biriyani, chicken curry and pepper dry as well. The chicken 65 was just like a kfc deep fried chicken. Really disappointed with the quality of food, i thot the wait would atleast be worth while but then it is the opposite. Sorry to see this. #chefdindigal
Service was quick and efficient. Food was very disappointing and some things were highly over priced. Have been visiting this location since it opened but today was the first time we did not enjoy the food at all. They have either had a change in chef or the overall quality has gone down. Extremely busy at lunch hour on the weekend but despite that their service was good. We had ordered Chicken, Fish and a veggie dish. Rasum, lassi and South Indian coffee and pineapple Kesari. The chicken gravy and fish gravy looked and tasted the same which really put us off. See the picture.
I have visited this place many times, I love the authentic taste of sambhar. Variety of food available and lots of vegetarian options. Food is expensive and I think they need to increase portion size according to price.Staff is friendly and the customer service is good. I miss the buffet dinner, hope it gets started soon.
Wonderful time dining here after a long spell! Service was friendly though some lineups waiting for hot items,to be replenished at the breakfast buffet. Friendly and quick service made up for it!! Will be returning for sure! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian heaven : Kid-friendliness: Nice options and different pricing for small vs. Big children making this an affordable option for families! Only good for Dosa’s. Usually there is waiting on weekends. Chicken dishes are mix bag. Must try kingfisher and cheetah beed
Not happy with the food for the price we paid. The Crab curry was salty. We told three people who works there and all they did was shake their head. I was charged $39.99 plus tax for it.
They have awesome dosa and vada. Although all the dosas' we tried were great, but we especially loved the ghee dosa preparation. It was very unique in taste.
