Indo Canadian Food Hut

I just went here today and I ordered 2 non veg thali. Food was good. The only problem is that their prices don’t match. What they charged me is $14.69 for one thali. On the TV screen it said $10.99. The menu of the place stated a different price. Even if they charge tax, it didn’t make sense. When I asked why I was charged so much, the lady said that the price has changed to $12.50 and it will update in the evening. They should be upfront about their prices and not cheat students. I was quite disappointed with the prices. Never coming again.

The girl who took our order was so rude to us and even to her colleagues. Tables were not cleaned when we asked to clean those then she ignored and she was so rude to the lady who was making food and asked to her clean her first. I felt really pity for that old lady she was lonely doing all the work like, making food and doing cleaning. I went there on Friday evening 10th march near by 6 o clock. Food was OK but customer service was too bad, i never expected this kind of behaviour at any indian restaurant.

Amritsari kulcha is 11.00+ tax for dine in as in display it is mentioned as 9.99+ tax, and the price in flyer is 7.99+. When I asked the young lady at the counter for the right price, she didn’t give me right reason for charging 11.00+ tax. In reply, she was arguing with me. I don’t mind for giving amount but the behaviour was ridiculous. The correct price should be on the display. I hope manager or owner will get this things done. Worst experience. Never come again.

Wrost experience i have three days ago i started tiffin services from this resturant since that day they are not delivering my tiffin eventhough my home is just 15 minutes walk away from this. First day when I didn't get my tiffin i informed them instead of this they didn't take any action . Very irresponsible behaviour.

Today we try indo Canadian food hut we ordered malai chap, chilli chicken chole kulcha and Chana bhatura as well as dood patti everything is so tasty in Indian style spices. It’s is best experience as compared to other places in Ontario.

I ordered spring rolls and papri chat and both of them was awful Bhalla inside papari was super hard that you can use it like hammer. Spring rolls was super oily and sour as the were fried in old and cold oil I would not recommend this place to anyone

We order veg noodels and mix prantha with some of great drinks from menu. I would say after while i had a same taste of my home. Highly recon to all who want to get delicious food in reasonable prices. Thanks for serving great chefs food hut.

had interesting experience today....so Im in the restaurant after reading reviews and decided that I'd pay cash and not using my card that place; she charged me .50 to 1$ more on each individual item, and as other users pointed out she's shrewdly charging 10-15percent extra on every item in addition to tax... You need to be aware before visiting this place, it was my first time here, let's see how the food works out, but initial expression is they have no ethics at all, I wish they could be little bit better in terms of ethics and cleanliness..they have good potential.. editing it to add pic and food taste review just now :- amritsari kulcha average 5/10 Naan - fresh but very chewy once normal 4/10 Chana - under-cooked, not at all tasty, 2/10 daal - too much salt, not tasty you should get atleast daal right 1/10 gajrela - tasty above average quality/taste 8/10 rice - baaasi shame, definitely not fresh - 1/10 Veggie burger - good size, good tickie size, taste good 7/10 overall quantity good 7/10 Overall taste 3/10 below average Ethics/honesty/values - 0/10 overall 3/10 --- better to avoid to not lose the opportunity cost somewhere else.

Went there last Sunday for the first time and would definitely recommend this place if you are craving for those fully loaded pranthas for breakfast. They serve you 2 pranthas you can choose any with chuttney, pickle, butter and some curd on the side. Price is good if we compare with the quantity they provide. People complaining about wait time are acting like if they don’t have to wait at other restaurants. Be lil patient guys! It’s worth it.

It’s my all time favourite paratha place. Love their chai and combos.
